So I rarely leave reviews but I really felt the need to in this case because our experience at Dream Garden Hostel was very very bad. - The receptionist wasn't very helpful - The reception closes too early - There weren't nearly enough bathrooms for the amount of people- we didn't have a shower on our floor let alone our building - there was a bathroom but the shower head was non functioning and I got completely undressed before realising and having to get dressed again - The showers that are there are just the worst, either boiling hot or cold, impossible to get warm water - There was no soap in the bathroom - The windows rattled and we could hear everything that was happening in the courtyard So basically we paid 150 dollars to not sleep. It was awful. The only redeeming quality of this place was that the sheets were clean. And the location is good. I get the sense that the owners are just cheap and don't want to invest in their Hostel. I understand that you want to make a profit but I feel totally ripped off, this Hostel must be making so much money given how many rooms there are, and I don't see them reinvesting it into the place.

Very satisfied with the stay. The bed is very comfortable, the room facilities are complete, and the tableware is enough to cook simple meals by yourself. Hyde Park is outside the window of the hotel room, and Sydney Tower can also be seen. The front desk service is very friendly and it is convenient to store luggage. Will recommend to friends. Facilities: complete Hygiene: good Environment: Proximity to Huante Park, 2 kilometers to Sydney Opera House Service: Warm, convenient luggage storage

I enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff was friendly. The only negative I can think of is: no water bottle was available in the room and you need to buy it yourself (everyday).

We stayed for two nights at the end of May. Our room was quiet & clean even if in need of a refurbish, which presumably, going by the building works going on, is in progress. The building works didn't impinge on our stay at all. Our breakfast (which was included in our room rate), was surprisingly good. The area it was served in was very clean and bright. We found all the staff to be pleasant. Being able to checkin & checkout on line made things move quicker, especially the checkout. The cost of accommodation in the city is very high so we were pleased that Song Hotel was a bit more affordable to us.
