The Mirador Boutique Town House

We chose this B&B as we were visiting the Pati pavilion- 15 minute walk away!!! Free on street parking - a little busy but we found a space close by. Chose the Venice suite which was fantastic. Really clean and had everything we could need. Information from host was amazing as check in is contactless you just come and go as you please. Breakfast is left in the room for you and I must say it is amazing. Everything you could with for. We had 1 night stay and only regret is that we didn’t book 2 nights. Thanks miradore hotel x

What a delight, a unique boutique hotel with absolutely delightful owners. We had the oriental suite, found up a private stairway. A small bottle of prosecco with 2 glasses in the fridge awaited with wonderful room. The breakfast was superb. We will definitely go back!

Stayed here for 2 nights a really quirky, but it is nice to be different. The breakfast is good. The owners are really helpful and advised us what places to go and see. The Uplands has some nice pubs and restaurants.

We stayed 1 night in the Egyptian suite at the Mirador on a visit to run the Swansea half marathon. Correspondence with the owners was great. The amount of breakfast supplied in the room was incredible! A lovely boutique townhouse ! Good luck for your retirement!

Reading previous reviews is interesting and obviously based on people’s experiences and what they find ‘excellent.’ Our experience was different to the majority, but nonetheless, it is our experience and I shall write in honestly, regardless of the fact that we were requested to leave a good review, for the new owners of the Mirador. That was very disappointing to receive. Up until that text, the correspondence from the host had been very good. Pros - the room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with cutlery, plates and a microwave and tea/coffee items. The room was large, with sofa, tv and access to Netflix etc. The continental breakfast was pleasant enough. Cons - the Egyptian room was a bit over the top for us. The area is quite run down in a student heavy area, very few decent restaurants/bars, in fact, we ate cheese and crackers on the first night as the area was so poor, and ate at the Mumbles the following day. We didn’t feel safe in the house as the area was run down and we had concerns about our car, but luckily it was ok. Lighting in the bathroom was annoying as it was motion sensor and couldn’t be turned down or off for night time use. Definitely would not return. I’ll now get an unpleasant reply from the owner telling me to lighten up, but this was our actual experience and opinion, but maybe the next person will love it?!

You drive down an unassuming Street and like something from a movie comes in to sight. Bright red signs illuminate the night. Walking into the room your jaw drops! It’s like walking into an aesthetic dream! The owners have gone above and beyond with the decor and certainly topped the hotel we stayed at in Venice itself!! The correspondence with the owners was easy and so friendly. We loved it and can’t wait to return to explore some of the other rooms. (We also got a free upgrade, you can’t ask for more than that!)
