Pool closed with no prior notice on this website, staff rude, room dirty, breakfast was disgusting

We went to breakfast the first day at 8:45 we asked for the cinnamon rolls (signature staple) and were told by the breakfast host they were all gone. Now I am well aware that these never run out or she didn’t care to make more but, there were at least 15 more people that came in after us. I also asked for hot chocolate and she took me to the creamers and showed me those again I said hot chocolate and she looked at me weird then I showed here where they put them and she said tomorrow. This all started when I had to go looking for her as she was in the kitchen and just talking on her phone. The second day went pretty much the same and the food looked like the previous morning’s breakfast and again no cinnamon rolls. This time the breakfast host was sitting in a booth talking to the other workers not paying attention to the food. Avoid the breakfast it’s not worth your time but, the coffee is good.

Everything was great ! Just the toilet situation was a slight problem running the last few times I stood there , and the television didn’t have all the channels because they were in the middle of changing it over to something else.

The stay was good except the breakfast was generally awful. The sausage had no flavor did not seem like meat of any kind and everything seemed super processed. The muffins were chocolate chip with no other choices. This mornings egg dish was a piece of bread witha thin layer of egg on it that was very strange. The ham and potato hash was too salty to eat.

Loved the many options for the breakfast. Staff at check in and check out were great. Room was clean. Loved the pillows. Only issue was the shower floor tended to be slippery - which made me a little nervous but just wouldn’t want anyone to fall.

I was disappointed in the cleaniness and condition of the room overall. I've been in better Holiday Express hotels.
