The Delight Swakopmund is laid out and equipped like a modern hotel on the German North Sea and Baltic Sea. Maritime, but also Namibian accessories mixed pleasantly and stylishly. Very nice, competent English-speaking staff at reception, restaurant/bar and housekeeping. A nice detail was the distribution of hot-water bottles in the evening before a cooler night. Breakfast buffet and bar were well stocked. The room (family room) was very spacious and fully equipped. Everything worked and was clean.
All in all at any time again and also to be recommended.

Very cosy spot with all the aneminities. Nespresso and smeg fridge and awesome friendly staff. Porter to help with your baggage as well as a helpful staff member when you need it. They have a great assorted breakfast adjusted for their environment to make it unique. ( we had oysters and sjampagne!) They even noticed my friend's birthday and sang her a birthday blessing. Only negative is, our room was close to the road and we had traffic and noise throughout the night. Would definitely recommend.

We spent two nights in this hotel during our Namibia holiday. The hotel has its own secured parking space. The balcony of our room faced the road and a busy parking lot so there was no way of using it. Unfortunately there was no balcony facing the nice courtyard. Room was clean and the size was o.k. too. There was a floor lamp on the right side of the bed which was flickering when turned on. At night couldn’t open the window due to the noise. Buses reversing or waiting with the motor full on. [There is a ****** there]. Apart from the above shortcomings, some of which , understandably, the hotel cannot help, the hotel was o.k. What really stood out was the attitude of the breakfast room staff and the reception. One receptionist in particular appeared to be bored, disinterested and even when directly addressed couldn’t be bothered to help the guests as in when asked if she could recommend a cafe nearby. The breakfast room staff on the other hand were very friendly, doing a great job. The breakfast was also good, including as one guest has already mentioned, Oysters and sparkling wine

Easy access, private parking, and very well located in the center of Swakomund. The hotel is very well decorated, and you can see that every detail has been thought of, from the combination of colors to the pieces. In a young urban style, the hotel is very comfortable and quiet. With 50 rooms spread over two floors, the interior backyard is very calm and gives guests privacy. The staff is very friendly, attentive and available. The breakfast is complete and of quality. The room was spacious, well lit and the balcony made all the difference. The wifi had a good signal, but weaker in the room at the back. Very fair price-quality ratio. Opportunity for improvement: slight smell coming from the bathroom.

Staying two nights at The Delight Swakopmund was on our itinerary through Ultimate Safaris in Windhoek, and the experience did not disappoint. I loved crawling into our comfortable bed at night with a hot water bottle tucked inside during turndown. The grounds were beautifully manicured, and the breakfast buffet substantial. The staff were courteous and professional. The Delight was our base for sea kayaking among the thousands of Cape Fur Seals at Walvis Bay and seeing all the flamingos, as well as, visiting the Snake Park in Swakopmund. It is conveniently located such that one can walk to a couple of good restaurants nearby or go shopping.

Very helpful staff, in the evening even thermophor was brought to our room and placed under the blanket because the nights were cold :) DElicious breakfasts which contained champagne and oysters (Swakopmund is famous for)

We had a great stay. Familiar atmosphere with nice and helpful people working there. This was the greatest breakfast of our whole Namibia trip. Nice location with nice big rooms, beautiful lobby/bar area. We can fully recommend this location.
