Park Hyatt Suzhou

Suzhou Industrial Park
Our overall stay at Park Hyatt was definitely memorable. The service was wonderful, the staff were helpful and kind, the facilities were exceptional. I would like to mention Betty, Shaw, Adolph, Vivian and Nick for being such amazing staff! Betty and Shaw made sure we received complimentary cake and wine in celebration of our anniversary. They were so responsive with our questions and are always ready to help. Adolph and Vivian assisted us with checking in and reception. We can’t speak Chinese well but they communicated with us in English which made our stay even better. They also helped us book our dinner reservation. Nick was the manager at apartment 208 where we had dinner. There were complications at first but Nick was able to handle everything well. He was also super kind and respectful. Our stay was almost perfect except for the fact that there was another guest who was blowing his nose, coughing and spitting in the pool which was a turn off for us. We decided not to use the pool anymore. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for couples, friends and family who need a wonderful staycation.
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
4.7/5286 Reviews
Industrial Park, Jinji Lake Commercial Area
Suzhou Four Seasons is located on an independent island in Jinji Lake. The design is full of Chinese aesthetics, the facilities are very new, and the service is ceiling-level. The day before check-in, there was a phone call to confirm the check-in time and number of people, the age and gender of the children, and restaurant reservations. After arriving the next day, there were not many guests. Starting from the doorman, I felt the top service quality of Four Seasons. Just like what I experienced at Four Seasons in Guangzhou before, the staff at Four Seasons treat guests as friends. They treat people very sincerely. They will greet you with a smile when they see you in the corridor, and they will greet you when they see you a little confused. Will take the initiative to provide help, and is also very patient and friendly with children. After Aaron at the front desk checked us in, he took us to confirm the children's bicycles, and then sent us and our luggage back to the room. During this period, he introduced the hotel's facilities and surrounding environment like friends. Aaron also explained the room facilities to us one by one, thank you very much! I saw the details of the power converter specially reserved for our Hong Kong compatriots! However, when I was using the bathroom, I accidentally found the long hair of the previous resident on the floor (no one had such long hair this time), but it didn’t affect the use and I didn’t want to bother... I’ll have to pay attention next time ~ Later at night At turndown, there are a lot of candies and snacks specially given to the children. Please ignore the ugly cream that I squeezed out myself hahaha I originally made a reservation for dinner at a Chinese restaurant, but after reading the menu and other people's reviews, I was a little discouraged and decided not to go. For breakfast, at least the ingredients are very high-end, and there are some items that are not available in ordinary breakfasts, such as freshly cut salmon. Good reviews on yogurt! The wonton stew is well received! Overall, it tastes a little flashy haha... The fruit salad with salad dressing is unpalatable. Very little cake selection. The waffles were burnt. But the service is very good! There is a bicycle tour in the morning, which can be completed in 5 minutes. If you walk, it should take less than 15 minutes. The smog is a bit serious. The indoor children's playground is only open from 9 to 18 hours. There is an ocean ball and a slide with no stairs but climbing up. It is a little unfriendly to young children. It is recommended that as a resort hotel, it can be opened at night otherwise the children will have no place to play. Overall, out of 5 points, facilities would get 5 points, service would get 7 points, and catering would get 4 points. The flaws are not hidden, but the details need to be improved!
InterContinental Suzhou

Suzhou Industrial Park
very nice lake view. convention location. good western and Chinese breakfast. we enjoyed the walk around the hotel and the lake. There's some construction noise starting late in the morning. When we are back in the afternoon, it was ok. Mr. Sivan Xu is very helpful who got us a very nice room to avoid the noise as much as possible. We are lucky that we didn't book the other one in he neighborhood. This hotel might have the best location and view on this side of the lake. can't wait to revisit again.
Jinji Lake Grand Hotel

Industrial Park, Jinji Lake Commercial Area
I have stayed here many times. The room is clean and tidy. The whole hotel is very large. After breakfast, you can take a walk around the lake. It is like a park. There used to be many activities such as archery, but now it is relatively quiet. The peacocks are still the same as before, but they don't spread their tails. It is also very convenient to go to the city by car. You can take a walk in the hotel in the morning and evening.
Pan Pacific Suzhou

Guanqian Street Area (Downtown)
I had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou. The hotel is close to key attractions like the Suzhou museum , administrative garden etc. The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. They assisted me with everything I needed and made me feel welcome. The hotel itself was beautiful, with a traditional Chinese architecture and a stunning garden. I loved taking photos in the garden and admiring the scenery. The hotel also offered free unlimited entry to Panmen, a historic scenic area with ancient gates, bridges, and temples. It was a great way to explore the culture and history of Suzhou. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Suzhou. Only thing that I do not like about the room is the tap. It’s the traditional type where you have separate hot and cold tap, making it less functional but it does fit the overall design theme of the hotel. Lastly , the hotel may like consider switching to big bottles for the shampoo/ shower gel so reduce waste and more environmental friendly. I will recommend this hotel to whose who like to have a different experience. Great value for money.
Tongli Lake View Hotel
4.8/51332 Reviews
Outside Tongli Ancient Town
When visiting Tongli Ancient Town, this hotel is definitely a good place to take parents and children to stay. Thanks to the manager, Ms. Lin Ru, who was very kind and considerate. She also helped us upgrade to a lake view room with a great view for free. Being able to enjoy the beautiful view in the room added a lot of good mood to the trip. The hotel also has many breakfast options, and the Chinese restaurant tastes very good, and the whole family raved about it. It is very comfortable to walk around the Taguan Garden in the quietness without people. The intangible cultural heritage exhibition is small but exquisite, showing us a corner of traditional Chinese culture from an unknown perspective, which shows that the hotel has a unique vision. There is also a stone exhibition in the hotel with a rich collection, which is a feast for the eyes of guests.
