It’s a nice B&B, and the owner is very welcoming. We went there on the 3rd. It was very quiet with not many people around. It’s very suitable for vacation and leisure. The overall feeling is pretty good. I forgot to take more photos.

It has a retro appearance, is close to Linwu Cave, and has good sanitary facilities. If you want to see Taihu Lake, don't stay in this area. Linwudong is also full of artificial lights, which makes it not worth the ticket price.

The hotel is in a good location, only a 5-minute walk from the scenic Linwu Cave. The room is quiet and clean, and the courtyard has a unique scenery.

1: The sanitary conditions are very poor. It is a hotel that has been open for at least 5 years and has not been renovated. When you walk into the room, there is a damp musty smell. You know how scary the toilet and shower are. 2: The room is very noisy. The homestay also operates a restaurant and mahjong entertainment for the elderly. On the first floor, there are a large area of ​​restaurant private rooms and hall tables, and a large number of mahjong tables. But there are many guest rooms also on the first floor. 3: It should be that a famous ancient house was contracted. Many pictures with good reviews on the Internet are not fake, but it is estimated that the pictures were just renovated many years ago. 4: The room facilities are old, the central air conditioner drips very noisily at night, and the windows also leak. The water in the shower and sink is pitiful. Forget about taking a shower... 5: There is no drinking water provided in the room. You have to buy it from the boss. The disposable slippers provided are as thin as cicada wings and will break as soon as you wear them. 6: Breakfast is just white porridge and steamed buns, and there is a limit per person. To eat in a private room on the first floor, you have to book a seat and breakfast with the boss. The private room is not big and it is noisy and dirty with everyone crowded in it. The boss's attitude was very bad, and he drove customers here and there without reservations. I heard someone was not full, but the boss said the portions were the same. Discouraging people who want to book a reservation is unparalleled and scary.

This is the best value-for-money B&B I have ever stayed in (not one of them). It is large in scale, has complete facilities, the owner is very enthusiastic and attentive, the food is delicious, and the environment is beautiful. Next time I go to Xishan Island, I will definitely stay in Linwu Xiaozhu.
