The rooms are charmingly antique, and the hotel staff are very friendly and patient. The breakfast isn't super lavish, but the Suzhou noodles are quite good. They also included hot spring tickets, which was a nice touch for some relaxation. Free parking is available, which is a big plus. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely bring friends and family back if I get the chance!

This hotel has been around for a long time. I visited about a decade and a half ago, and back then, it felt very serene and secluded. However, I've noticed significant changes this time. It's clear they've kept up with the times, putting a lot of effort into various aspects like the environment, attention to detail, value-added services, and marketing. Overall, I found it to be pretty good value for money. While the facilities aren't as new as those in recently built hotels, the rooms are completely free of any strange or musty smells, and the location is excellent. The hot spring pools are conveniently clustered together, making it perfect for families with children and seniors. My only slight disappointment was that the 'fish spa' pool didn't actually have any fish. The front desk staff were all very warm and friendly, and the restaurant service was equally enthusiastic and attentive. I didn't get a chance to try any of the in-house activities, so I'm not sure what they offer.

This is one of my favorite hotels! The stay included two hot spring tickets, but the front desk staff, knowing I was traveling alone, thoughtfully swapped one for a breakfast voucher instead. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I really liked the Chinese-style decor. The bed was super comfy, and even the hairdryer was good. They even gave me snacks upon check-in – extra thoughtful! The breakfast buffet was plentiful, a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The robot ice cream machine was a fun touch; I had two, and they were delicious. The hot springs were also excellent. I visited at the tail end of a holiday, so it was quiet with fewer people. There's also some lovely scenery nearby. Unfortunately, I only had time to visit Emerald Lake, but it was truly beautiful and put a perfect end to my trip. If any friends come to Suzhou, I'll definitely recommend they stay at this hotel.

The hotel is located right at the entrance of Shushan Scenic Area, offering a fantastic environment with its own hot springs, which you can enjoy in the afternoon and evening. It's also very convenient to drive into the scenic area when staying at the hotel. I'll definitely come back again.

The hotel surroundings are beautiful, with lush greenery all around, and the air is incredibly fresh, which really lifted my spirits. Upon check-in, I received welcome snacks, enjoyed the hot springs, and had a delicious breakfast. I'll definitely be staying here again! 👍

Booked this hotel on the day for a spontaneous mountain hike. The location is excellent, an absolute top choice if you're planning to stay overnight for a hike at Shushan Scenic Area. Plus, you can enjoy a hot spring soak after a tiring day. It's only a 15-minute walk from the hotel to the entrance of Shushan Plank Road, making it perfect for families with kids. The room was standard, but generally clean. We even got some complimentary snacks during our May Day holiday stay.

The rooms aren't very soundproof, but the hotel's food is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend it. The hot spring was decent, nothing special, but understandable given the size. Overall, I still highly recommend this place.

The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and you can enjoy the hot springs in the afternoon. The hotel is located at the foot of Shushan Mountain. There's a relatively flat wooden boardwalk leading up the mountain, which is great for seniors and kids. The welcome snacks were a nice touch, and there were free desserts in the evening. On a whim, I decided to take my family and dog to Suzhou. I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a hotel and attraction! The hotel is pet-friendly and even has its own hot spring. It's also very close to Shushan Ecological Village and Emerald Lake. A truly satisfying stay.

The hotel was much cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. The room was spacious and my child absolutely loved it. The staff were also very kind and gentle. The food at the hotel was delicious too. Next time I visit Shushan, I'll definitely stay here again!

This was my first time staying in Shushan Village. The hotel is right at the entrance to the scenic area. There aren't many parking spaces, both above and below ground, so you might have to search during holidays, but on regular days it should be very convenient and free. Just scan the hotel's QR code before exiting the gate. The underground parking lot has direct elevator access to the lobby. The staff were very friendly, and during check-in, they tried their best to accommodate our room requests. The academy butler also promptly sent important notices to guests via WeChat. The hotel's ground-floor restaurant does good business, and the set menus are affordably priced. A set for two is definitely enough for three people. However, on holidays, it gets crowded, and seating can be an issue, so it's best to go early. Across from the hotel is Shushan Park, which is more of a natural, ecological forest. We followed the crowds to the wooden boardwalk, passing various snack stalls along the way. The pear orchards were beautiful, though we couldn't go inside. There's tea in spring, bayberries in summer, and pears in autumn, so it's worth visiting at different times of the year. We came specifically for the hotel's 12 hot springs. I guess not all of them were open during the Qingming Festival. Although there were many tourists, not many people were using the hot springs in the afternoon. During holidays, they're open from 13:00-23:00, which is great for crowd control. There was also ginger tea available in the hot spring area. Overall, it offered good value for money and the ambiance was very charming. On the day of our check-in, we even received snacks and a small gift!

The Shuxiang Family Hotel boasts an excellent location right at the entrance of Shushan Ecological Village, making it super convenient for hiking and visiting Emerald Lake. The outdoor hot spring at the hotel is absolutely fantastic – clean, tidy, and with great service. It's the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommended!
