Good location, suitable for a nights stay

Very nice place to stay, convenient location and great service. Breakfast is simple, but enough for the value. Lots of restaurants around.

I chose the KAYA Hotel Jinji Lake for my business trip to Suzhou, and it was absolutely the right decision! The hotel's location is incredible. It's just a ten-minute walk to the Jinji Lake business district, making it convenient for meeting clients and sightseeing. The room view is fantastic; you can catch a glimpse of Jinji Lake as soon as you open the curtains, and the night view is even more stunning. The bedding is so soft and comfortable that after a long day of work, I fell asleep instantly. The front desk staff were super nice; they saw me struggling with a big suitcase and proactively offered to help, even giving me helpful tips about nearby food streets. The self-service laundry room and dryer are a godsend for business travelers like me – no more bringing a pile of dirty clothes home.

The bathroom lacked a towel rack, making it difficult to hang wet towels. The transparent glass partition between the bathroom and the bedroom (though with a curtain) offered little privacy; frosted glass or film would be better. Despite being a deluxe twin room, the space felt a bit cramped. The Wi-Fi password sticker in the room was half-torn. The decor was a pleasant, fresh style. Room soundproofing was average, as I could clearly hear loud conversations from the neighboring room. The hallway on the floor was a bit narrow. On the street downstairs, there are several restaurants, including a Shaxian Snacks, a barbecue joint, and a cafe/bubble tea shop. There are also snack shops in the neighborhood market, which is a plus. Free parking for guests is another advantage. It's not too far from Suzhou Center and the Gate of the Orient, about a ten-minute walk. The front desk staff offered welcome snacks and were enthusiastic and proactive in addressing any issues. The breakfast restaurant operated like a typical budget hotel, meeting everyday needs. A major plus is that children aged 17 and under eat for free.

It’s an amazing place at an incredibly beautiful and convenient location, with plenty of bars and restaurants just next door. Whenever I visit Suzhou I stay there. It’s nearly perfect in all aspects. Breakfast is great as well.

The location is close to Jinji lake area. Breakfast is decent. Service is ok. Hotel building is old. I had a smelly hotel and had to change one.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a decent option for travelers on a budget. The location was very convenient, close to main attractions and public transportation. While the amenities were basic, the price was affordable, making it a good choice for those looking to save. Overall, a decent stay for the price and location.

Very nice location and alot going on in the surroundings. Many bars and restaurants and open theater right infront of. Mostly japanese stuffs.

Nice hotel placed in an alive neighborhood center Japanese oriented. The room was clean and the breakfast included honest. Nice welcome gift with some snacks.
