I want to recommend this hotel very seriously. The single-family building is very distinctive. There is comfortable light music as soon as you enter the door. Everything is very warm and very clean.
I am in the room on the second floor. Although there is no elevator, the stairs are very good. I bring a 30-inch suitcase. One person stays. The space is just right. But if two long-distance passengers stay, two large suitcases may only be half open.
The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were very good to sleep, and it was very quiet at night, very suitable for rest!
The logo of the hotel is very cute and everywhere, very attentive.
Free water bottles, juice, in addition to the hair dryer in the room, there are straight plate clips, washing supplies are also very careful, very sincere.
The hotel is right next to the city wall, and the opposite side is EDIYA caffe, . It takes three minutes to walk to the Cultural Center bus station. It is also within ten minutes' walk from the Huacheng Palace and the cafe gathering block.
After check-out, luggage can be stored.
I really like it here!

The location is very good. Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and near the tourist attractions that are the selling points of this city, which is Hwaseong Fortress. The only downside is that there is not much parking space. But if you come by public transport, it is convenient to travel back and forth. You can walk around the area. Overall, I like it. The picture in the room is as shown in the picture. It is convenient to travel. The outside of the hotel may look a bit old. It does not look very clean. But in the room, the cleanliness is 5 points. Everything is complete. Toothbrush, body lotion, facial cream for both men and women, comb, hair dryer, hair straightener. There is tea and coffee in the room. You can come empty-handed and stay. The bed is soft, the pillows are good, the blanket is warm, the air is cool, the water flows, very convenient 👍👍👍

Location was perfect and the bed was really nice! The only thing is that is smells a little and that there is mold in the bathroom. If they can fix that it is perfect.

The staff were also very kind and made my stay comfortable!
If I ever go to Suwon, I want to come here again
It's not overly extravagant however it made my stay in Suwon comfortable! Their live up to their name of Homeliness! Would visit again :)
I arrived way before check-in time and, without question, the owner gave me a key for a room that was already prepared. Very kind of him. Room was well equipped. I never heard any noise all night. Great value for the price.
Not being able to speak Korean I found it a bit hard to find but largely because the English translation of the name in Trip.com was different from what was actually on the hotels signs! Sign outside the hotel says Royal Motel. But a woman from neighbouring shop quickly took me to it. So no problem really.

The furniture is old and shabby. Wardrobe doors make an annoying squeaky sound every time.
The safe did not work.
The room was dark, there wasn't enough light.
The bed linen had stains when we arrived, so I called and asked housekeeping to come and change at least the sheet. So they did, but the new one also had some stains. I gave up.
The towels are really old.
I think this hotel was too expensive for what we got.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThis hotel surprised me a lot. First thing, my room is very new. Both the bedding and furniture are clean, and the room is spacious. The bathroom and shower are separate. Second, breakfast was very rich and everything was clean. However, I picked a city-view room. The floor is low, and I can't see anything outside the window except the parking lot.
My family and I are very satisfied with the cleanliness and breakfast. I will choose to stay here again next time.
JjoedreI don't usually write reviews, but I always leave a comment when I check in because there's a tall woman with long thighs. This description of his appearance is expressed this way because he did not reveal his name. However, I can't even see the name on the business card on the chest. What is your name? I asked 3 times and he doesn't even tell me. Ignoring the customer. I pay for two rooms myself and check the guests in.
Ji took the passport and said that since there were two rooms, they would check in from both sides. Ji kept the female guest's passport and sent it to the counter next to her. If you have it, shouldn't the guest say that he or she will help you check in?
The male employee who pre-judged your nationality immediately responds in Chinese, but he only speaks English and the customer can't understand it, so he keeps talking in English... It would be better to put a flag of the foreign language available on his nametag and have him deal with it. Or, I'm Korean, so you can explain it to me even though I'm right next to you. But I'm so tired that there's no explanation worth listening to. Even if you don't have to explain that there is no wifi password, everyone knows it. If you write it down on the room key cover, everything will be taken care of... What time you check out on the 5th floor is enough, and breakfast time is enough.
If you really want to speak English, you should participate in an English speech contest... It's ridiculous that Korean will do the trick. It was annoying to see them holding their passports senselessly during check-in, but they had a poor service mindset and couldn't control their facial expressions and didn't even answer questions. If it were our employees, we would have fired them. I think the new employee will do better than that employee.
You have to say your license plate number three times to understand it, and if you're hard of hearing, they'd ask you to write down your license plate number... They'd mumble strange numbers as if you couldn't understand them... If it wasn't for a middle manager, you might have exploded. This is not a place where you receive service, but a place where service is provided to customers. Yuduri's senses are all the worst. Since I like speaking English, I sincerely hope that I will stick to dealing only with Westerners. If you don't have a personality that suits the service profession, it might be a good idea to quickly find another path.
It's a nice hotel in Suwon, it's next to a department store, and it's close to my house, so I brought it here, but I wonder if I should take it again because of the female employee.
The breakfast wasn't as good as Chinese food, but it was edible.
I stayed at the Guangzhou Marriott for 2 nights in the same week, and compared to there, the facilities and breakfast service mind Korea was inferior.
It is a position that enjoys a regional monopoly status at a price that is just to rip off popular Koreans.
For reference, the price including breakfast at the Marriott in Baiyun-gu, Guangzhou is 150,000 won.
It is twice as expensive as it is located on the outskirts of Suwon.
AAnonymous UserFamily room is big with 2 queen beds. Room is clean and amenities provided is good with water dispenser machine, teabag and coffee mix at floor level. Newly built located next to arte hotel.
However, there is no shower curtain, as such the floor is pretty wet after each shower. It may be good that there are more hooks or hangers provided in a family room for 4 pax use.
Location - near many good eateries and restaurants, and drinking places. CU is just opposite the hotel which is a plus. For travellers who are not driving, its a hassle to pull your bag through uneven pavement to find the hotel. (Nearest suwon city hall stop). We requested for leave luggage at reception which was obliged before and after check in and out.
AAlicanོThe room is a bit small but adequate. Very clean. The location is very good. There is a big Starbucks downstairs. If you go out at midnight, there are several small bars where you can eat and drink beer. There is also 24/7/11. The front desk staff all speak very good English. If I go again in March, I will definitely stay here again.
LLongsenThe hotel is clean, the bathroom is spacious, a big bed is enough for two people to sleep, but the mattress plastic cloth is not removed and there will be sound. The location is very close to the MRT station, the service staff is acceptable,
GGuest UserThe location is close to Suwon City Hall Station, but there was a little distance from Nahyeseok Street or Ingye-dong restaurants.
Instead, I think quiet is the biggest advantage!
But the building next to it is a wedding hall, so if you stay on the weekend, it's noisy from the morning to the sound of radio and food making. ㅠㅠ
Right next to the Samhakdo Hoe Fisheries Waiting and lying in the room, it's a honey. ^^.. 1 minute from Samhakdo.
KKarleneI have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.
SSojo BrileyYeah, this hotel was interesting. It looked like the pictures provided but, it wasn't as clean. It's could stand to have an update in furniture. I truly loved the bed though, softest one I've been in since I've been traveling around korea for the past year. It's decent if you want to just go out with friends but it gives *** motel vibes so I would never bring someone I'm dating there. All and all it's not bad but it's a going out to get drunk and just need a place to lay your head kind of place.
GGuest UserGood environment, close to the road, easy to find, convenient to travel, surrounded by canteens, there is also a snack street, very close to the subway! ! You can walk for a few minutes
GGuest UserThe guy not speak any word in english and even if I said that a booked a room he wanted to make me leave the hotel ! So, don't try to speak with him, just show your name and the reservation, he will give you the key and at your depart you have to leave it in the elevator, it's cold but that's how is it. We sleep in a ondol room (matress in the floor) ; the room is not pleasant (rather dilapidated) but the matress is confortable, you have kettle and one time coffe-tea-water, hot water in the shower ; it's enought to be in good condition. The localisation is pretty good, not too far from the citadelle maybe half an hour of walk.
