Kamisuwa Station Hotel

The single room with a private bathroom I booked didn't have a shower, so I had to use the communal bathhouse. The toilet was fine. Otherwise, everything was good, and the breakfast was quite rich. I recommend booking with breakfast included.

I came here to check out Lake Suwa near Tateishi Park. The hotel is behind Kami-Suwa Station, about an 8-minute walk away. The hotel offers many services (see the uploaded pictures), which is very convenient. The only inconvenience is the key; you need to give the key to the front desk for safekeeping when you go out!

I originally came to Japan just to relax, but I never expected to end up staying at "Ideal Life." I was immediately struck by the spaciousness upon entering—the floor-to-ceiling windows provided such comfortable natural light, the sunlight streaming perfectly onto the sofa. The whole room was quiet, clean, and had a subtle woody scent. 🛏 The bed was incredibly comfortable. Lying down made me completely relax. It wasn't the mushy kind; it was a high-quality mattress with just the right amount of support. All the fatigue from my journey instantly vanished.

A wonderful old-fashioned little hotel. The Japanese-style rooms are large and comfortable, and there's a small onsen (hot spring) for relaxation. The breakfast area is small but has a wide variety of food. The best thing is the service. I drove here and there was no parking available, but they kindly offered to park me for free for a day. That was amazing!

It is very close to the hotel and Lake Suwa, and as a relatively tall building in the area, it also offers a great view. If you want to travel to the area in the future, this hotel should be the first choice for accommodation

It's quite convenient, located within a 10-minute walk of the station. The facilities are comprehensive, and the reception staff speaks English and are very welcoming.
