Hotel Saginoyu

By chance, I stayed at this hotel again seven years later. No wonder I felt very familiar when I walked in. I went back and looked through old photos and realized it was the same hotel. It can be said that Ctrip’s previous reviews have been deleted. It’s a good hotel and very cost-effective. Highly recommended.

It was a ryokan with a lot of boxes facing Lake Suwa. The parking lot is not so large, so the hotel has a service to move. It was just the summer fireworks season, so it was hard to get to the hotel because there was a lot of traffic jams around the inn because of the fireworks. Fireworks are a summer tradition. Since there are many places where the event has been postponed due to the corona virus, we are very thankful for this fireworks event that can be set off every day. From the guest room, the front building was in the way and I couldn't see it well, so I went to the lakeshore to appreciate it. The bath was a hot spring dyed in vermillion as it was touched. There was hot water, and the quince extract afterward was delicious. I didn't like the fact that there were a lot of groups using it at the time and the smoking room was close to the room. Was the building built during the bubble period? There was a part that was decrepit in the place place. Anyway, because it is close to the lakeshore, it can be said that the location is the best, but the hospitality was not good enough.

Smells like smoke even though it's a non-smoking room! It seems that it is probably used as it was in the old smoking room. I talked to the staff, but the smoke from the smoking space outside may flow. Not at that level. The smell of old cigarettes permeated the floors, walls, and fittings. If you want to make a room that was a smoking room a non-smoking room, you should renovate it properly. I have never encountered such a smoke-smelling non-smoking room at other hotels. There is clearly a problem inside the room as there is no smell outside the window. Also, there was only one futon that was flimsy, and it felt like it was sticking to the bottom. The frame of the fusuma is pasted with sellotape. A metal bar suddenly falls from under the washbasin. This is a level that would hurt a small child at your feet, and there is a safety problem. Only the open-air bath with the room was good. However, the lid is quite heavy, so people with bad backs should be careful when opening and closing it. Are you really giving good reviews for staying in a room like this? Did we just happen to hit a room on the outskirts? I'm already surprised.
