i chose this hotel because it was close to where I was meeting a customer. I was in a hurry and used the IHG app. First, the gentleman at the front desk was great. very polite and personable, he should be somewhere else. the hotel is in decline. it as 5:30 when I checked in and there were still bags of trash lining the hallways. the carpet is very worn. the room had not been swept, the floor was filthy. They could have at least drug the dirty sheets across the floor to pick some of it up. there were dead bugs in the windowsill. the room is very cramped, it was difficult to work at the ”desk”. the Keurig was well stocked, the room temp was perfect, and I slept well. For the price ($130) i felt it was overpriced.

I’m a Platinum Level Marriott Bonvoy member with more than 500 lifetime nights. This is the first time I’ve ever felt strongly that a property at which I stayed should immediately lose the Marriott name. This place is a dump. From the moment you pull in and see the black plastic garbage bags duct taped to the entrance portico to keep pieces of it from falling on your car, strap in….you’re just getting started with this place. Stained, torn, and peeling wallpaper adorn the hallways throughout. Rooms have broken door handles. Room doors are propped open with paper cups. The entire place has a musty, just-not-right odor. Bathrooms have rusted and broken fixtures. Pool looks like it hasn’t been operational for years. Staff are trying, but it’s likely a bit like being the cruise director on the Titanic. It should be a crime to charge $115 per night to stay in this hovel. What’s up Marriott? How in the world do you justify putting your name on this place?????

The breakfast was very good and everything was run very well. They do charge you a $50 cleaning deposit which they assured me would be refunded. Top notch!

I stay all around the country in different hotels in the same price point as this, and I can honestly say this is the BEST Hotel I stay at hands down. The place is very clean, the staff is incredible. They are so professional & nice. The rooms are so clean and comfortable as well. Great continental breakfast in the morning. Overall I can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s clearly managed very well, so thank you to the staff from the GM to the housekeeping staff. I travel 5 days a week for work, and my company has us stay at this property when we’re in the St. Louis area. I stay all around the country in different hotels in the same price point as this, and I can honestly say this is the BEST Hotel I stay at hands down. The place is very clean, the staff is incredible. They are so professional & nice. The rooms are so clean and comfortable as well. Great continental breakfast in the morning. Overall I can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s clearly managed very well, so thank you to the staff from the GM to the housekeeping staff. Every time I see that I’m scheduled to come to STL I know I’m going to sleep great, and not worry about bugs, or if everything was properly cleaned. Greg. Estes Express Lines. Cadillac MI

i chose this hotel because it was close to where I was meeting a customer. I was in a hurry and used the IHG app. First, the gentleman at the front desk was great. very polite and personable, he should be somewhere else. the hotel is in decline. it as 5:30 when I checked in and there were still bags of trash lining the hallways. the carpet is very worn. the room had not been swept, the floor was filthy. They could have at least drug the dirty sheets across the floor to pick some of it up. there were dead bugs in the windowsill. the room is very cramped, it was difficult to work at the ”desk”. the Keurig was well stocked, the room temp was perfect, and I slept well. For the price ($130) i felt it was overpriced.

I arrived and was greeted promptly by a gentleman at the front desk. After taking care of the incidental hold, he handed me my key cards and directed me to the elevators. My room was large and very clean. It wouldve been helpful to have a guide of channels for the tv and washclothes in the room. The breakfast was ok with scrambled eggs, chicken patties, pastries, waffle makers, and 4 types of cereal. If I was more hungry than I had been, the selection could've been better. It is located near a ton of eateries and shopping.

I’m a Platinum Level Marriott Bonvoy member with more than 500 lifetime nights. This is the first time I’ve ever felt strongly that a property at which I stayed should immediately lose the Marriott name. This place is a dump. From the moment you pull in and see the black plastic garbage bags duct taped to the entrance portico to keep pieces of it from falling on your car, strap in….you’re just getting started with this place. Stained, torn, and peeling wallpaper adorn the hallways throughout. Rooms have broken door handles. Room doors are propped open with paper cups. The entire place has a musty, just-not-right odor. Bathrooms have rusted and broken fixtures. Pool looks like it hasn’t been operational for years. Staff are trying, but it’s likely a bit like being the cruise director on the Titanic. It should be a crime to charge $115 per night to stay in this hovel. What’s up Marriott? How in the world do you justify putting your name on this place?????

The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was in great shape and clean. We would definitely stay here again and would give it the highest of recommendations to anyone traveling in the area. The breakfast was very good and everything was run very well. They do charge you a $50 cleaning deposit which they assured me would be refunded. Top notch!
