would have been better if the double room had a queen- or kingsize bed instead of two single beds placed together

Vacker byggnad, pampig miljö, fint rum!
När vi kom in i vårt rum låg en tom snusdosa på golvet och fönstret stod öppet (tio minus ute).
Vi hade kollat på hotellets sajt vilken tid frukosten började innan vi bokade, för vi ville få en tidig start men när vi ankom hade tiderna ändrats, vilket var lite tråkigt.
Lätt att hitta parkering på gata i närheten.

The downstairs lobby is amazing with its signature staircase. Beautiful! Hotel was busy this weekend but service was still fairly quick and very polite. Rooms are OK in size but somewhat dated. Bathroom very nice. But only a bathtowel no face/hand towel in room. Minibar was not cold.
Perfect central location but still nice and calm. Breakfast was great but no newspapers at hand.

A grand old hotel which is very comfortable and with the touch of luxury. Only negative is the boy racers who are very annoying with their loud cars, however they are the scourge of all Swedish cities in summer time! Will definitely stay here again when we are in Sundsvall
