The overall hotel is a bit old, but it's ok. The surrounding is very lively

The shower wouldn’t drain; the phone in the room didn’t work to contact the front desk, so I had to call from my cellphone. I was told maintenance would be on the way. Needless to say no one showed up. We had to wait 35 minutes for the water to drain before the next person could shower.

Love the location of the hotel, nice walking path around man made lake. The room was clean and the staff nice. I left a sweater in the room and called day of checkout to see if they found it. I was told they have the sweater and would tag it and for me to call Nick the general manager Monday. I called him and he was not nice or kind. He told me he needed me to send a shipping label and they would mail it back. Seemed very disinterested in the whole conversation. I sent a mailing label and called and left message with him that it was on its way, I never received the sweater. Got in touch with corporate and they said Nick would get in touch with me, which he never did. Called corporate again and they said to give them time to work it our. 2 months later received an email from Nick the sweater was misplaced and they no longer have it. He offered no compensation. The sweater was very cute and expensive so I am sure someone at the hotel has a nice new sweater. Nicks handling of the situation was not consistent with Marriotts standards.

Wife and stayed here as we had dinner plans nearby and did not want to be out driving late. We’ve stayed here before for similar events. We had a long room and it was very comfortable. Plenty of room. Comfy bed. A/C was super cold. Breakfast was continental style but also a menu to order from. No complaints at all.

This is hands down the best hotel in the Sugar Land area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable during our sports trip with friends. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is ideal, with great restaurants nearby. Whenever we’re in Sugar Land, this will be our go-to hotel. I highly recommend it, not just for sports teams, but for families as well—an all-around outstanding experience!

The hotel was clean for how outdated it is. Location was convenient. Value was good if you live by ”you get what you pay for”. Main reason I chose this place was because of the separate living room. My husband wakes up early no matter where we are, and I am not known for being a morning person. Our room was on the fifth floor in the corner which made it incredibly quiet. Grateful for that. The concept of Throwback Time is fantastic and well executed. I didn't eat anything while there, however, the breakfast made my husband sick at this stomach for a while that day. The pool area is tiny, but very well kept. It is smart and convenient that towels are provided outside. Investing in cushions for the lounge chairs would be great. It's Houston. In August. Metal chairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were some sketchy folks in the parking lot most of the time and the gas station in the parking lot was less than desirable, which added to the sketch. Once inside the hotel, I felt much safer. Overall, I'd probably stay there again out of convenience.

Arriving May 12, 2024 (about 4ish pm) I noticed a young man sitting by the Front Entrance so I parked outside of the Veranda. I acknowledged the young adult and proceeded in to check costs and availability. The young Lady provided all and I started to check the room. I noticed another car entering the Entrance area and I decided to move my vehicle. As I headed past the desk the young asked where I was going and I provided “to move Trk)….Surprisingly she said not to do that and the Marine/Roughneck living inside of me started to answer and I stopped me/him to provide instead “there is a Lady in the other car and they may need to move their car” mine complicating the drive thru. I didn’t think much about this until 9:00 pm when my truck parked across the Parking Lots farthest (fm my rooms visibility) location that a blk f150/2016 entered the spot next to my Trk which could handle a Honda Accord but not a Trk. I blinked my lights to let whoever know as I hadn’t seen anyone leave the Trk. Around 9:45 pm a young lady who accessed the Office was returning to the Trk. By 10:30 I blinked my lights again and the Trk finally drove off. Next morning it became evident that someone had been in the truck and attempted to siphon gas, a complicated job to perform on a Silverado or any later model truck. Since my gauge showed no loss I was relieved until I realized the Gas Door had been leaned on and was now broken. Summary this Best Western Parking Lot is being preyed upon by some group. The communication between the individuals and the Desk Clerk/Employee (possibly) seem questionable. Considering the initial check in activity provided. The next day I moved to the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Rosenberg TX, right down the Street fm this Best Western and found the Answer to all my traveling Americans dreams. The Hotel has 5 Stories surrounded by a meticulously maintained Property. The Check In Floor is open and beautifully decorated. I met all the Staff while spending 3 Days there and each Lady was friendly, attentive and ready to provide all necessary requests of we Travelors! I will access the Springhill Suites Marriot website to complete this 5 Star Review of one of the finest Hotels I have visited! I wanted to love this hotel as I have stayed at SpringHill's before. However when we arrived to check in for our 3 night stay at around 8:30pm, they didn't have a room ready for us and we had to wait around 20 minutes for the room. The front desk employee did offer us snacks during our wait. The room did not have enough towels, sofa sleeper cushions were stained as one of the bed comforters. Refrigerator did not work either. On the second day we discovered mold on the ceiling by the window. We were moved to a new room. Customer service was great. The other problem I had was that when making the reservation, the room was advertised as having a trundle bed. That was not the case. None of their rooms have trundle beds according to staff. Breakfast was ok but could be better. On our last morning, they were out of almost everything when we went a little after 8am.

Great staff they do their best to accommodate the guest and make our stay comfortable. Outdated hotel but kept clean and safe. Prices are good and reasonable. Kitchenette In room and full size refrigerator.
