"Geno Hotel offers a fair price for what you get. The decoration and setup are quite basic, but comfortable enough for a short stay. At the moment, the property is undergoing renovations, so expect some areas to feel a little unfinished.
The breakfast spread is acceptable with decent variety, though there’s room for improvement in both options and taste.
Parking is available at a flat rate of RM8 (covered and uncovered), but do note there’s no direct lift from the parking area to the hotel lobby, you’ll need to walk from a different section.
Overall, it’s a practical option if you’re looking for reasonable pricing and convenience, but don’t expect anything too fancy just yet."

"I booked this hotel for my partner’s graduation at the convention centre. The lobby looks classy and elegant, with large chandeliers and beautiful Christmas decorations. Check-in took about 15 minutes after 3 pm, and we had to stand in a queue—there didn’t seem to be seating available in the lobby, possibly due to its design.
Breakfast can be enjoyed at either the buffet area or Gordon Ramsay Restaurant, which is a nice plus. The hotel is also conveniently connected to Sunway Mall via a walkway, making shopping and dining very accessible.
Our room was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping available. The walls are a bit thin, so we could occasionally hear people talking, but it wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would love to come back again."

"The hotel location is very good. Easy access to many places. Just in front of Sunway Resort. Many eateries in the vicinity.
Breakfast options are limited. But the food outlet that serves the breakfast in also a restaurant and you can find many other options there at a reasonable price.
Overall good experience. I only wis they would include milk coffee and tea in the breakfast. It only had black coffee as the single option."

"Location is good, but room is too small for 2 person. Paint on certain part of the wall peel off. Soap finish and ask the staff to refill but it was never been done for 2 days. Air-con is a bit too weak. No bottle drinking water provided. The breakfast is too little to fill your stomach."

"Good for its price. The bed was very clean. No shampoo provided, so bring your own. The towels were clean but had a strong bleach smell. Hot water not adjustable, you get whatever comes. The floor tiles were not level so a little bit of shape edge showing. Some parts they fixed that with duct tape. The a/c was not working on the second night due to heavy rain so it shut itself automatically to protect short circuiting, thats what the staff told me. Next morning they came and fixed it. The staff were helpful. There is a ramp in front of the hotel but there are a few steps up the stairs to get to the elevator. Overall, I was quite pleased. It was cheap and clean thats the main thing. There is a convenience store just a few steps away which closes at 10 pm. A halal steak house opposite the hotel was nice."

AAlongaipaizhao性價比非常高的酒店，但是呢，離雙威學校太遠了，走路基本上是不可能到的，如果要打車去購物或者學校的話，其實不划算了，因為打車都得二十多塊，這個酒店的設施是可以的，比較新，但是有油漆和塑料的裝修味道原本可能是一個足球俱樂部的招待所，沒有什麼人在管理，沒有值班的人員衹有一台入住和離店的機器，如果在平台上訂會被重複收取時馬幣的旅遊税，記得找店員退退一下，前提是你能找得到店員

The room & washroom are small & functional, BUT I can hear a lot of noises from my 2nd floor & the room above. On my 2nd & 3rd night stays, I experienced 2 groups of inconsiderate guests:
1. Parents w 1 or 2 kids from same 2nd floor crying, playing &, talking loudly from 1-3am & all their noises can be heard clearly. Worst still, I had to call the receptionist 3-4 times on my 3rd night to ask the receptionist to speak to that group of guests to be a bit more considerate & lower their noise level before he came up.
2. The room above me always had noises like heavy things dropping or turning around the bed, which can be heard clearly too. 🤦♂️
Will give a 2.5 out of 5 stars due to the noises, including shower noise from the hotel room opposite mine on 2nd night + the inattentiveness by the night duty receptionist with numerous calls required.
Other than the above, I think the morning duty receptionists are nice, understanding & accommodating. Do bring along your own slipper as it is not provided.

1. I selected a room stated that has windows; stayed in a room with only walls around unable to access any outside view 😕

The above matters were raised in the WhatsApp group chat but to no avail, none of the team members within the group chat responded, so needless to expect any concerns showed on my stay being hospitable. The next text that got in the group chat was already informing me about checkout, as though my queries were entirely nonexistent.
I’m sorry but it’s a rather disappointing experience after so many umpteenth stays I previously had.

Has fridge and tv. Also among the cheapest around compared to others. Try online booking like trip for a good deal.
