I checked in at 2:30 PM on June 1st, 2026, a public holiday, but my room wasn't ready until 6 PM. I kept asking the front desk, and they kept saying it would be ready in 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, I asked again if it was ready, and they told me to wait another 40 minutes. In the end, I kept pushing them and they finally gave me a room at 6 PM.

Sunway Resort is an excellent choice for families with young children. Having the resort, attractions, and mall all under one roof makes it incredibly convenient. Sunway Pyramid also offers a great mix of both international and local brands, which sets it apart from many other malls. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping, and their service was excellent throughout our stay. However, crowd management during the public holiday period was lacking. There were long queues for the lifts after check-in, and we were initially told no baby crib was available, only for one to be delivered later that night after a follow-up call. The breakfast queue at Sunset Terrace was also extremely long, so we ended up skipping it. Overall, a great family-friendly resort with excellent service, though the experience could be improved with better crowd management during peak period

Super kids friendly, seamless check in and out process. Kind and concerned reception and staffs. Spacious room and prompt service. We received complimentary birthday cake upon request too. Overall it was a pleasant stay

The hotel room was extremely comfortable, with warm lighting that created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The location was excellent, conveniently close to shopping malls and a wide selection of restaurants. The buffet breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food choices. Most importantly, the hotel staff were very friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the stay.

Excellent services at hotel and convenient access to the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. Also easy reveal to the universities in the area. The services and food quality at the Gordan Ramsey Bar & Grill were top notch.

Traveling with my child this time, I did a lot of research and finally chose Sunway Resort Hotel Kuala Lumpur. After experiencing it, I truly feel I made the right choice and wholeheartedly recommend it to all parents out there. This hotel is hailed by many as Malaysia's 'Atlantis' and is an excellent option for family trips. The hotel has a private walkway that directly connects to Sunway Pyramid Mall, making dining, drinking, and shopping incredibly convenient. The room experience was also fantastic. The room we stayed in, with our family of three, was spacious enough for everyone to move around comfortably without feeling cramped. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; after a day of playing hard outside, our child would just flop into bed and sleep soundly, ensuring plenty of rest. The hotel features a dedicated children's pool on the fifth floor, with an appropriate depth and fun facilities. All the staff were very warm and polite!

very family friendly. kids pool facilities. connecting indoor pathway to sunway pyramid mall. buffet breakfast is also kids friendly. coming with kids dinning table and area which kids can enjoy themselves while parents sitting next to the area. safe and clean.

Just got back from Sunway Resort and it was absolutely amazing! 🥳 The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was fantastic, with a huge variety of fruits, pastries, and both Western and Asian options – we were spoiled for choice every morning. 🍎🥐 The kids absolutely loved the children's pool with all its slides and water features; it was their personal paradise! 💦 The pool area is really well designed, allowing adults to relax nearby too. The best part is the direct connection to the shopping mall. It's just a short walk away, making shopping, dining, and entertainment incredibly convenient! 🛍️🎬 It felt like everything was taken care of on this holiday. Need improvement for the check in process, long and not a 5 star standard service. Not even a welcome tea. They only serve to western foreigner from the pageant event. Double standard. This is my second time but i truly disappointed with the check in service. Rooms cleanliness is good.

It was really convenient for us to play at Sunway in the morning, come back to the hotel to rest and then go back again in the afternoon for the wave pool as the big wave pool is only from 4:30-5:30pm in the afternoon. The hotels swimming pool connects right infront of the wave pool so it was awesome. Make sure you don’t take out the wrist band as you need it to renter. But going on public holiday and weekends the rides have to wait a looong time so I recommend you wait at the entrance and go in first thing in the morning for rides with long line.

It was the best decision ever to have staycation in this hotel. Good location within klang valley, water park with some water slides and huge pool to play around. Nxt to the sunway pyramid shopping mall which has lots of food and shopping. Only thing is slow and packed lift.

Definitely will come back again with my family! Room is comfortable and clean! The kids enjoyed swimming and playing with the slides! Highly recommend for tourist and weekend stay with kids!

Really luxurious resort-style room, five-star amenities and service. We particularly liked the private pool, although there were many mosquitoes. The AC stopped working at night, but the staff quickly resolved it.

Sunway Resort Hotel is absolutely amazing! It's like a giant playground. The lobby is incredibly grand and opulent, and the staff are all super warm and friendly. There are phone charging sockets everywhere in the lobby, but you'll need an adapter. The entire resort is beautiful, and there's a huge shopping mall with tons of restaurants just past the restaurant on the right side of the front desk, making dining incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this hotel; check-in here is full of pleasant surprises!
