Red Roof Inn Stroudsburg

Didnt expect a 24/hour desk to be someone on a machine and through a computer screen. She was helpful despite taking 20 minutes to provide us with room keys. (it wouldnt dispense from the machine so she had to reset it). The room had a weird mildew smell but I stayed for only one night so it was manageable.

Hotel is not responsive at all, some local ppl in the hotel, but litterally they are doing nothing. Checing crew is online. otel and around is like a **** factory. All night **** smell came in the room. You dont feel safe here. Lots of ppl outside and hotal making sounds. Stay away from.

I wasn’t expecting much from the looks of the outside, but the room was clean. Could hear some noise, but not much. 10/10 would stay again.

When i arrived they don't have availability for the room then gave me smoking room the odors was disgusting. I can't stay and don't refund the money 😒

The staff were fine. One room was cold despite the setting and the other room was intensely hot despite the settings. The cold room smelled of smoke. The hotel does not appear to have had any updates (beyond vinyl flooring) in years.

The room itself was good, but the overall experience was frustrating due to poor communication and service. We were never told the Wi-Fi password and had to go down to the lobby to get it because no one answered the phones. To make matters worse, the landline in the room doesn’t actually connect to the front desk. On our second day, our room key stopped working entirely, and once again I had to go down to the lobby to have it replaced. Small issues, but having to repeatedly go to the lobby for basic needs really took away from the stay.

I was very disappointed, but it served its purpose. We were there for a funeral just really needed a place to sleep. The place was nothing like the pictures at all!! Room was ok , bathroom very neglected (paint and rust, facet was loose and pretty much coming apart. Door not properly insulated cold draft coming in. I do not recommend this Red Roof Inn,
