This is a very well managed resort. The staff are extremely well trained, and very efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. Our chalet was cleaned with the minimum of noise and disruption. This is a very special place to visit,it is a relative quiet resort, and has a calmness that has to be experienced. Because of the position of the chalets it is also very private. The views are spectacular and the game that visits are a treat. We found the accommodation and food and facilities excellent. I fully recommend a visit here, even after a week we were still enjoying it. Don`t be put off by the 21 km of dirt road ,the road is good to get there, it is well worth it.

The 30km dirt road spoiled our midweek completely. The dirt road was not mentioned when we booked at the resort which was according to the PPR consultant a true gem. Travelling with a mercedes with low profile tyres was extremely stresful. Upon our arrival we had a power outage of 5hours with no communication from the office. A small bundle of fire wood would be nice, we were not prepared for the cold. Booking agents should make sure that guests know what to expect. We are truly dissapointed. The accomodation was neat and comfortable but the trip there realy stole our joy.

Tranquil with great dam and mountain views. The rooms are exactly as they are on the pictures. Make sure you pack warm clothes because the weather changes from hot to cold within hours. The road leading up to the resort is a very very long gravel road, it just needs patience. Friendly staff and a wonderful place overall!

Qwantani was an absolute delight!! The road to the resort was quite a hair raising dirt road BUT the gem at the end was totally worth it! Staff were the friendliest I’ve met and my dogs were welcomed with love and affection! The chalets were large and light and bright with every amenity and there were even emergency lights for load shedding. Can’t wait to go back!!

One of the truly awesome resorts in proximity to the Sterkfontein Dam. Great location, spectacular views, unbelievably comfortable and luxury accommodation, amazing amenities, a great restaurant, and the list goes on and on. The resort is really something to be experienced and has something for those that love luxury and the outdoorsy type. The horse riding trails gives one spectacular views of the mountains, the valleys and of course Sterkfontein dam. The staff are attentive, courteous and friendly. The only negative is the long rough access road which is only really suitable for vehicles with a high road clearance or ideally for 4x4 vehicles.

Currently staying here for a week. So nice to just get away and totally relax. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Brought our own WiFi so there if needed. The dirt road if driven on sensibly wasn’t a problem and just further broke ties with the stresses of work and the rat race. Plenty activities to keep the kids entertained and a day spa well worth visiting. Thanks for giving us a fantastic break.

A beautiful setting overlooking Sterkfonteindam. Chalets were warm and cozy, and well equipped. Definitely the best booking pots and utensils that we have ever had at other resorts. Beds super comfortable. And a lovely fireplace in the lounge. There was no need for an air conditioner as it warmed up the whole until. Will definitely have a return visit.

Nestled amongst the mountains and Sterkfontein Dam, this resort has a very unique location. But be warned that there is a good amount of Gravel to get through to this resort. The gravel is driveable but you would need to drive a good 40km/h or less in some places. Once there, there is just a relaxing environment. The rooms are clean, neat and very cosy. With a jetmaster you can relax with the log fire burning away ! The managers makes you feel very welcomed and caters for your every request or at least tries to see what can be done. The pizzas at the restaurant are really really delicious! The reason for the 3 star, is that the gravel makes it extremely unpleasant to get to the resort and by the time you get there, one is absolutely tired!

This remains one of the most tranquil places I have visited over the years. Kids at play, activities and the like cannot detract feom the peace and quiet this beautiful Sterkfontein Dam brings, with something for everyone to do. Make the trip. Enjoy the quiet and leisure
