This hotel is absolutely fantastic! We had a booking through ***********, but for some reason, when we arrived, it showed as canceled, which was incredibly confusing, especially since it was already 2 AM. We were in a bind, unable to find another suitable hotel. Thankfully, the front desk attendant was incredibly helpful and enthusiastically assisted us in finding and contacting another hotel. We went there to check in. However, I still wanted to move back here the next day. The room here is wonderful, the mattress is super comfortable, and the decor is tasteful, clean, and tidy. I really loved it and would definitely stay again. A special thanks to that front desk attendant!

Our stay at Sedona Suites Ho Chi Minh City was simply outstanding and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and professionalism. The location is unbeatable, located right above Saigon centre in district 1. It was incredibly convenient to access shopping, dining, and many of Ho Chi Minh City’s key attractions, all within walking distance. The panoramic views of the city skyline from our suite were absolutely breathtaking, especially at night. Our apartment was very spacious and breakfast selection was outstanding. A truly wonderful and memorable stay for my family. The staff even presented a birthday cake to my son on his birthday. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is new, the rooms look great, and the facilities are complete. Breakfast was good and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Definitely a hotel worth checking out if you're visiting the area.

Came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the hotel staff were fantastic in helping me prepare a surprise for her. Everything was perfectly arranged, and my wife was truly delighted! The entire hotel ambiance was so relaxing. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, and being right by the sea, lounging on the deck chair with the breeze blowing was just so serene and pleasant.

The environment is great, with a wonderful atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, and a rich variety of food. The breakfast buffet is extensive and diverse; I recommend going early, as it fills up quickly. The infinity pool directly faces the beach and is absolutely stunning, truly refreshing! There's also a poolside bar where a martini really hits the spot! The rooms are decent, and it's understandable to find a few small insects given the natural surroundings – a minor point that doesn't detract from the overall experience. The spa is also quite good for a relaxing session. For dinner, we had Vietnamese cuisine. The portions were quite generous, almost too much to finish, with plenty of seafood options. The flavors were light and delicious. There's also animal feeding, which is very therapeutic. It was a bit sad to see the pigs looking a bit thin, and the 'pig dad' was hogging all the food from his 'wife and kids'!

The most delightful surprise of my Vietnam trip to Ho Chi Minh City was An Lam Retreats Saigon River. Hidden away in a gentle bend of the Saigon River, it's only accessible by speedboat. The moment you arrive, everything goes quiet, and the serene ambiance of a white lotus resort gradually unfolds amidst the untouched riverside jungle. The resort has only a dozen or so suites. Our villa, guided by our butler, showcased lotus motifs everywhere. The palm leaf silhouettes reflected in the pool water, like an ink wash painting softened by water. Our butler was a quiet, capable Vietnamese woman, exuding a perfectly measured distance that brought to mind the old-world Saigon hospitality – respecting your completeness and mystery as a stranger. I awoke at dawn to the calls of unknown birds, a thin mist rising from the river, and distant fishing boats like faded brushstrokes in an ink painting. I began to understand why some people choose to stay here for months, just to wait for a monsoon, witness the changing colors of the mangrove forests, or listen to a night chorus of frogs. At sunset, the resort arranged a riverside street food dinner, making up for missing out on street food exploration during this trip. The chef served Vietnamese spring rolls; shrimp and mint wrapped in rice paper as thin as cicada wings. Dipped in a little fish sauce, the savory flavor carried a hint of the river's sweet brine. Dinner also featured a vocalist singing a few Cantonese pop songs in Vietnamese. Though I didn't understand the lyrics, in that moment, the similar rhythm and appearance served as a shared language. An Lam Retreats is like a poem steeped in water, far from the crowd, yet closer to the world; rejecting noise, yet hearing more sounds. And at a certain moment, my thoughts forever lingered by the lotus-filled pond – that's time's occasional merciful gift, an unexpected eternity found on a journey.

I arranged a stay at Le Méridien Saigon for my boss, and two colleagues, and the overall experience was very positive. The hotel is located in a prime area along the Saigon River, with convenient access to key business districts, restaurants, and major attractions. This makes it suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Based on their feedback, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with pleasant views of the river. The overall environment is modern and welcoming, which worked well for both boss and colleagues The staff were professional and attentive, providing consistent service throughout the stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, which made the overall arrangement much easier from a coordination perspective. Overall, the stay met expectations, and the experience was enjoyable for both the family and the client. Le Méridien Saigon is a reliable choice for travelers looking for a well-located and comfortable hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and I would consider booking it again in the future.

Pros: Historic building, pleasant courtyard with an indoor pool. Ample toiletries provided in the bathroom, not just single items. Attentive staff for cleaning and delivering amenities. Cons: The staff don't seem to understand the concept of guest service. Breakfast waiters practically knock you over, trying to get past first. The person delivering luggage to the room told us, 'I'll go first, you take the next elevator.' 😂 Breakfast needs a special mention: Breakfast hours are until 9:30 AM, but in other hotels in Ho Chi Minh City where we stayed, breakfast was until at least 10:00 AM or 10:30 AM. However, the breakfast time isn't the only issue; waiters start clearing tables and milk pitchers at 9:00 AM, instead of serving guests. They focus on cleaning and clattering dishes, subtly hinting that breakfast is over. Furthermore, not once during our entire stay did anyone offer to bring/pour coffee. Cappuccinos and lattes are made by a separate barista; you can't make these drinks yourself from the coffee machine. There are no freshly squeezed juices. And what's unacceptable is the sour and overcooked vegetables – broccoli and cauliflower. It's surprising that the hotel management isn't monitoring the quality of their establishment; for comparison, look at the Pullman hotel. In the evening, the cleaning lady in the fitness center was making a lot of noise while cleaning the changing room, making it difficult to concentrate even with headphones on. Suggestions for the hotel: Train the staff on service and sort out the breakfast issues.

This hotel is located in District 5, the heart of the Chinese community, making it very convenient to get around. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and communication is easy. The hotel rooms are spacious and very clean, making for a comfortable stay overall. The lobby staff are very polite and service is quick. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices.
