YYangdabaodebao001I picked this hotel at random and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The infinity pool was absolutely amazing! We'll definitely be back in the fall/winter seasons, and the kids had a fantastic time. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and even the toothbrush and toothpaste were of excellent quality. These small details really show how much thought the hotel puts into its guests' experience.

DDioYJThis was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

GGuest UserThe staff at the counter are friendly and have a good disposition. Phoebe is very service friendly and so is the manager there when I checked out this morning. Unfortunately the breakfast spread and complimentary lunch or dinner items were not up to standard. Could be better. Overall I had a good experience staying at the hotel. Very convenient location to take the high speed trains or metro or buses to visit places.

GGuest UserThe rooms are quite spacious. The hotel's free shuttle service to the scenic area is the best part, and they even have a stop within the scenic area itself. The restaurant is large, though the food quality is just average. My only real complaint is about parking during holidays; you have to drive to the back, and the signs aren't very clear – you even have to exit and then re-enter. Also, during holidays, the restricted traffic zone at the intersection outside the hotel makes checking information a bit chaotic. There should really be hotel staff at the intersection to help, and some clear signage. The phone number listed on Trip.com isn't even the hotel's direct line; it's the scenic area's number, which then requires a transfer, which is inconvenient. On a positive note, the hotel's Chinese restaurant is pretty good, very convenient, reasonably priced, and the food tastes decent.

Near the lake and beautiful surroundings, lovely large room, Japanese toilet, clean linen, lovely duvet. Everything was great, staff very friendly! I forgot my charger and they lend me one with a smile. Ask for Mile he speaks very good English and is very friendly. Breakfast has everything - Chinese and western food and yummy donuts 😉

GGuest UserI brought my parents to Wuxi for a visit and found this hotel on Ctrip. It is very cost-effective. What attracts me most is that pets can be brought in, which is very convenient. The hotel is in a prime location, convenient for travel, and the overall stay experience is also very good. The hotel covers a large area, the lobby and rooms are very spacious, the facilities are also new, and the supporting facilities are complete, which makes it very comfortable to live in. Special thanks to Geng Xiaolan, the assistant manager of the lobby, for her warm and thoughtful service. The location of the room originally arranged by the front desk was not ideal. Manager Geng helped me coordinate a room change as soon as possible, and I was very satisfied with the final room. It was a very pleasant stay experience and I would recommend it to my friends!

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and spacious. As a family of four, we were very satisfied with the two-bedroom suite. We had excellent meals and a fantastic time. The laundry facilities were a huge plus. The hotel breakfast was good; the homemade sandwiches were such a hit that our kids ate several. Housekeeping kept the room spotless; the staff even folded our pajamas and tucked our daughter's doll, Abebe, into bed—what an incredibly thoughtful and sweet gesture! 🫰💗 On the downside, the swimming pool closes at 9:30 PM, and it would be helpful if the front desk could communicate this more precisely to guests in the future, as we were asked to leave only about 10 minutes after entering. The room also felt a bit crowded with furniture. While I understand hotel furnishings can be a significant cost, the quality of the furniture's wood panels seemed inferior. I would suggest the hotel consider reducing the amount of furniture; the excessive amount still emitted a faint odor.

GGuest UserThe room's smart controls are quite advanced and convenient, though it's a pity there's no fridge, and the drainage could use some improvement. The hotel is right next to Liyuan Garden; it would be perfect if the room rate included admission tickets. The free shuttle bus stop to Yuantouzhu from Changqiao is very close, right opposite Liyuan Garden, making it easy to get to Yuantouzhu. However, the female receptionist didn't mention this when I checked in; I had to figure it out myself. I took the Liyuan speedboat to Yuantouzhu since the hotel's last speedboat departs around 1 PM. The breakfast featured Wuxi specialties, which was quite good. Overall, I'm satisfied.

SShixingzhewujiangHonestly, if it weren't for this hotel, I probably wouldn't have visited Dangko Ancient Town. But with the ancient town here, it gives me another reason to come to this hotel. After the Spring Festival holiday, it's a great opportunity for those with leisure time to travel. Strolling around the hotel, you can easily walk straight into the ancient town's streets. Just wandering around like that, you really get a feel for the graceful charm of a Jiangnan water town. The hotel itself is truly excellent. I was very satisfied with everything: the interior environment, the dining, the swimming pool, and the service.

GGuest UserWuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn Review I stayed at Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn during the cherry blossom season, and my overall experience was great. The inn generously upgraded our room for free, which came with a large balcony overlooking the main street of the scenic area – the view was absolutely fantastic. Upon entering the park, electric carts are available to transport guests and their luggage directly to the inn's doorstep, making the entire process effortless. The inn manager was very kind and even helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor. The room decor was minimalist, and while the facilities weren't brand new, the value for money was perfectly acceptable for the price. The inn boasts an excellent location right on the scenic area's main street. It's a two-minute walk to Nianhua Tower and another two minutes to the performance pool, making it incredibly convenient for catching shows. In fact, it was even more convenient than the Duo Luomi Hotel within the scenic area. However, I did encounter a minor issue: the staff's knowledge about the scenic area's attractions wasn't very detailed. When we asked about the best spots for viewing cherry blossoms, the manager could only give us a general area, not precise directions. On a rainy day, when we inquired about the drone show schedule, they only mentioned a risk of cancellation and advised us to scan a QR code for details. The next day, we asked a different manager about the cherry blossoms in Luming Valley, and they frankly admitted they had never been there and couldn't answer, only suggesting we take the small train. I had assumed the inn could help reserve tickets for the small train, but we were told tickets had to be purchased at the station after 9 AM. We spent two hours enjoying the cherry blossoms first, only to arrive at the station at 9 AM and find ticketing hadn't started yet. The ticket booth didn't open until 10 AM, and tickets weren't actually distributed until 10:30 AM. Thankfully, we eventually got on the small train to Luming Valley, and the experience was surprisingly delightful. It was filled with birdsong and floral fragrance, with very few tourists, allowing us to almost have the entire cherry blossom forest to ourselves. Enjoying the scenery with wind chimes and birdsong created a unique and tranquil atmosphere that you wouldn't find at more popular spots. Overall, the manager's service attitude was good, but their professional knowledge regarding the scenic area's attractions was lacking, which felt a bit confusing. Moreover, most staff members in the scenic area provided imprecise directions. I hope they can improve this through further training. Putting that aside, both the inn and the scenic area are well worth experiencing. The cherry blossoms are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Although I missed the drone show that day, the other live performances were spectacular. The accommodation package included admission to the scenic area, offering excellent value for money. My overall stay was very satisfying.
