From the welcoming staff at the entrance, to the front desk concierge, and the room and restaurant service personnel, everyone was incredibly friendly and offered help exactly when needed. It's a place that makes you feel at ease and want to return. The environment is exceptionally beautiful; a lot of effort has clearly gone into the landscaping and maintenance. Pavilions, waterside structures, long corridors... Even more remarkable is its unique location. From the observation deck on the back hill, you can gaze upon the West Lake, with its waters and the Leifeng Pagoda completely in view. Staying here allows you to exclusively enjoy that tranquility and beauty... Absolutely superb! See you again!

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

The location and natural surroundings are, as expected, outstanding. Compared to Wang Zhuang where I've stayed before, this place is smaller and more refined. The rooms are a bit small, but the big advantage is the direct view of the most scenic part of the garden and West Lake. Opening the window to see the greenery is truly refreshing. Breakfast is exquisite. The hotel staff are also very professional, with the exception of one male receptionist at check-in who was a bit inflexible and spoke rather stiffly. All other staff were smiling, polite, and provided excellent service. The beautiful waitress at the Chinese restaurant even remembered me from dinner the night before when I came for breakfast the next day and greeted me warmly. Mr. Sun Wei from the concierge helped me with my luggage both at check-in and check-out. Mr. Zheng from the car team drove us to the most scenic part of Jiuxi and patiently waited for us while we enjoyed stream tracing; my child was happy, and I was relaxed. The coffee shop is tranquil, and the female staff there are thoughtful. I'm already planning for my parents to visit again!

The hotel design is beautiful and well-maintained. **Xianshan Oxygen Hiking Tour:** The guided tour was a great experience. **Swan Garden Feeding Experience:** The environment was excellent, not too crowded, making for a fantastic summer holiday experience. **Environment:** A superb environment, very suitable for self-driving tours. It's very suitable for family travel as it offers many extra services specifically for children, including a variety of breakfast dishes and bed rails for sleeping. For business travelers, thoughtful amenities like nail clippers are provided, which are rarely found in other hotels. I experienced some deep healing services, such as the morning Baduanjin stretching for awakening and the deep sleep therapy before bed. My child also had an art photoshoot. Water park tickets were also included. Areas for improvement: The room lighting was too dim, making it impossible for children to do their homework. The room ventilation system wasn't great, especially the bathroom, which lacked a separate extractor fan. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

Environment: The environment is really superb. I booked a water villa, and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe water villa, which had a better location and was closer to the hotel lobby. The balcony in the room overlooked the lake, and you could feed fish and ducklings from the balcony railing. There were so many koi in the hotel, some even bigger than the ducks, which was really fun. Service: Every staff member I encountered was super nice. When my child mentioned that the snacks delivered to the room were delicious, they specially sent two extra portions that afternoon. When I checked out, they even prepared some for me to take away, which was incredibly touching! Thumbs up, thumbs up! Food: The breakfast area isn't big, but it's delicious! There's a wide variety of bread, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options are very rich. Even if you go to eat after 9 am, there's no long queue; it's quiet with fewer people. We had dinner at the Baiyun Restaurant, which was also very good, costing a little over 200 yuan per person, which was quite reasonable. Facilities: The hotel is indeed not new anymore, as it has been open for a long time, but it's very well maintained. And this Chinese style just looks ancient and elegant, which I personally really like. Rowboat: Three of us took the hotel's rowboat. It was 400 yuan for an hour to charter the boat, which is indeed a bit more expensive than outside, but the advantage is no queues, no exposure to the sun, and there wasn't a second boat on the outer lake waterway, so we had a private secret retreat all to ourselves – so comfortable!

Highly recommend the central lake-view rooms; the unobstructed lake view is breathtaking and truly therapeutic, giving you that ultimate vacation vibe. **Dining:** Breakfast was plentiful, and the dishes changed over our two-day stay, which was great. The Chinese restaurant also had a lovely ambiance and excellent food. **Transportation:** It's a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the lobby, or you can use the hotel shuttle. **My only complaint:** We arrived around 1:30 PM on a Sunday, and I understand the room might not have been ready. However, despite several prompts, we didn't get our room until just after 3 PM. There was no seating available in the lobby either, leaving both the elderly and children quite exhausted.

Firm bed, big spacious room with no lingering smell of cigarette despite smoking is allowed in certain rooms. Received a complimentary breakfast from front desk staff Alex, very nice of him. Breakfast is good, offering mostly local food and a few western pastries but if I have to pay, I would rather eat out for more authentic experience. The washing machine in room is definitely helpful amenity so I don’t have to queue at the laundry room to sort out washing and drying. However, the washing machine is very noisy so staff should let guests know best to wash during the day or before they head out and not at night like we did as we have to paused the drying as the loud noise is preventing sleep. They can improve the staffing during day time because I arrived around 1pm, no one helped with luggage, the door was very heavy so it’s one thing to manage luggage up the curb side and it’s another to drag the luggage through the heavy door and then I realised there was only 1 staff working at that hour, and he was overwhelmed with requests left and right from guests, calls to delivery service so staffing need to be adequate during day time as through the day there will be a lot of guests interactions and having staff to respond timely improves experience and impression of hotel. I came here for a vacation with my parents and children. Before arriving, I saw some negative reviews and was a bit nervous, but after getting here, I realized it was absolutely worth the price. Facilities: All the necessary amenities and services are available. There are many things for children to play with, such as rock climbing, archery, basketball, and swimming. We barely had time to try them all. They also host various activities, and I saw the kids participating happily. Environment: The Club Med environment is truly impeccable. As it's a newly opened hotel, everything is very new. Air purifiers are provided, and the toiletries are the same reliable brand as always. Service: There's really nothing to fault about the service. From the beginning, when I accidentally booked the wrong room and contacted the hotel through Ctrip, they responded promptly. On the way to the hotel, staff members greeted us with smiles. Before check-in, the hotel's concierge added me on WeChat. A special mention goes to Cling; we could basically communicate any issues via WeChat at any time. We happened to arrive during a typhoon passing through Hangzhou. Before our stay, they politely inquired about our check-in plans and informed us that we could cancel without penalty. Check-in itself was quick and smooth. Cling arranged the entire itinerary very well and even informed us about party start times. It's worth mentioning that breakfast was indeed excellent, and we also had the buffet dinner, which was priced as expected. Breakfast had everything you could want, and dinner also offered a good variety. The surrounding area is also very convenient; you can go tea picking, there's a town within walking distance, and it's easy to order takeout for milk tea, coffee, or go out to eat.

Our two-day stay here was absolutely perfect! We happened to check in on my birthday, and I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. Our dedicated butler handled everything with such thoughtful care. They didn't just decorate the room beautifully for my birthday, but also arranged a travel photoshoot, a SPA experience, and a Five Elements assessment. The whole process was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The butler's service was meticulous and responsive, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, the stay far exceeded our expectations. Both the environment and the service were impeccable, providing a truly exceptional experience. It's definitely on our list for a return visit, and we'll choose this hotel again for our next trip. My short trip to Hangzhou included a stay at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Here's my honest feedback. The hotel location is great, not far from Wulin Night Market, and convenient for self-driving with easy parking, making getting in and out hassle-free. The overall environment is pleasant. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a mattress that was just the right firmness, ensuring a very restful sleep. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, and the toiletries felt good to use. The window offered an expansive view of West Lake (from a lake view room). The staff were polite, check-in and check-out were efficient, and issues were addressed promptly after being reported. The service was practical and not overly formal, with no flashy marketing gimmicks, just a genuine holiday experience. It’s perfect for both relaxing and exploring the surroundings, offering good overall value for money. This hotel is definitely worth considering for a trip to Hangzhou.
