GGuest UserI'm not sure if it's called Haikou State Guest House or Fairmont Haikou, but its location is excellent, with beautiful sea views. The hotel facilities are very high-end; you can tell it was a very upscale hotel many years ago. It also has a swimming pool. Both the breakfast and the paid dinner at the hotel were quite good, and the staff were all very friendly and promptly resolved any issues when called. The only downside is that the carpet in the room should be replaced; the entire room smelled musty, and the bedding was the same.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this Intercity Hotel! As a brand under HUAZHU, the quality is consistently reliable. The room was spacious and bright, with convenient smart devices, soft bedding, and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in very quick. The breakfast was plentiful, and there's a free laundry room and gym, which is great for business travelers. Overall, it's clean, hygienic, and offers great value for money – a top choice at this price point. I'll definitely come back next time!

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and the environment was excellent. It's impressive that an older hotel can maintain such cleanliness and tidiness; truly befitting a star-rated establishment. The hygiene inside was also very good. The hotel breakfast was rich and varied. Front desk staff LindaShela and MavisShela were very helpful and answered all our questions. Kevin Huang expertly handled our luggage arrangements, and the doorman always opened the door for us and assisted with our bags every time we left. The surroundings were very quiet, and the hot springs were comfortable. The pool was also large, though it was a bit too cold to swim in after the hot springs. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance.

The rooms are spacious, offering excellent natural light and views. Throughout my stay, the staff were proactive in greeting guests and responded promptly to requests. Check-in and check-out were efficient and smooth. The pool area is comfortable and perfect for relaxation, and the comprehensive kids' facilities make traveling with children stress-free. The food at R Bar was great, with a wide selection for breakfast that included both local specialties and a mix of Chinese and Western options. Its location near the duty-free city and tourist attractions makes getting around very convenient. With new facilities, excellent service, and great value for money, this is a high-quality hotel in Haikou that I'd happily stay at again. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe experience was pretty good! They have a kids' water play area, and the hot springs zone is quite large and impressive. We really enjoyed doing handicrafts at Squirrel Tribe these past two days, and there's also a little train. Teacher Candy made a great impression on the kids too! I heard they change up the activities, but we'll be leaving in April. Hopefully, we'll get another chance to visit. Haha!

It's commendable that they can maintain Ascott's service standards in such a desolate environment.
Two things that left a deep impression:
1. The front desk proactively packed breakfast for me as I had an early departure the next day.
2. The spa staff were waiting for me an hour in advance.
One area for improvement:
1. Upon check-in, the front desk could proactively share information about the cultural center's activities with guests.
Xiao Liang and Xiao Su provided excellent service, making both check-in and check-out smooth.

JJingcaizaibeijingThis is a well-established luxury hotel, and overall it's still fantastic. The doorman offered excellent service, helping with our luggage upon arrival. The front desk, however, seemed a bit understaffed; the young lady checking us in was quite busy, and I hope the hotel considers adding more personnel. Consequently, some of the expected services weren't fully explained. The activity schedule was very rich, with entertainment options for both adults and children, so there was no need to leave the hotel – we just enjoyed ourselves right there. The turndown service was very good, and the breakfast taste was spot on. Finally, a special thanks to our butler, Xenia, who even gave us two luggage tags as a parting gift. If I get the chance to visit Haikou again, I'd definitely come back to experience it.

She proactively helped us plan our itinerary and patiently responded to our needs late into the night. The room offered a stunning sea view, the bedding was comfortable, and the food was authentic. The Haikou Marriott Hotel is definitely a five-star establishment. It's conveniently located next to the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, which provides a steady stream of guests through various annual exhibitions. The hotel's decor is a sophisticated and tasteful 'New Chinese' style.

The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable – even the corners were spotless, which made us feel incredibly comfortable. The moment we opened the window, we were greeted by a breathtaking blue ocean view. The expansive scenery and gentle sea breeze instantly washed away our travel fatigue. The hotel's environment is also superb; both the greenery and public areas are meticulously maintained, making for excellent photo opportunities.
The service was outstanding, from check-in to check-out. The staff were all warm, professional, and incredibly responsive to our requests, even offering thoughtful suggestions. The facilities are also top-notch, with a great gym and swimming pool that perfectly met our leisure needs.
Overall, the experience far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're gathering with friends or enjoying a relaxing vacation, this is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Haikou! 👍

TTufeifei.Room cleanliness needs improvement! I got a room with a noticeable sewer smell, and while the new room was a bit better, it still wasn't great.
However, the location is excellent, and the views are absolutely top-notch! Watching both the sunrise 🌅 and sunset 🌄 from here is incredibly beautiful and stunning 🤩.
