byti.coWonderful location! A straight walk from Hakata Station (or you can take one stop on the subway). The hotel is right outside the subway station. Very short walk to Canal City too. A 24h pharmacy nearby with an AEON mart at the basement. There's good food around too. Really great location but if you stay the STAY ROOM type, please note that you will be facing a huge cemetery 🥲. It's mostly hidden by trees but you absolutely can see it. The hotel is right infront of the cemetery. Other room types won't get that view thankfully.
There's a free to use public bath, free ice pops, and free to use microwave. Washing machine outside is paid per use. You can see the status from your room. STAY ROOM washing is free with detergent provided 👍
Service was great initially. Check in team aided with my requests. However, checkout team was not the best. I arrived at the counter, confused and in a rush but the team in the morning all stood behind the counter, leaning their backs to the wall. I utter a word of question and nobody came forward to help. I tried to figure it out myself, by slotting in the card, then finally someone came forward, no talk no acknowledgement, tapped some stuff - all in japanese - and then nothing. I was confused, then one of the English speaking stuff said ”all done”... I was very unimpressed with this service. Especially with the sight of all of them leaning against the wall when I obviously needed help. Really a downer to a good stay.

EricaJKThe hotel was better than expected. While the room wasn't huge, it was very clean. I really liked the design of the sink, shower, and toilet areas, as they were all separate, creating a great wet-dry separation. There's also an extra sofa bed in the room, which is comfortable enough for an adult, making it perfect for a family of three. The hotel's location is excellent – directly accessible by subway from the airport, and just a short turn off the subway exit. Don Quijote, the Anpanman Museum, and the original Ichiran Ramen are all just a few minutes' walk away. The only downside is that light leaks in from the sides of the curtains, which can be a bit disruptive for light sleepers once it gets bright. Other than that, everything was great.

Anonymous UserI only stayed for one night but was so impressed by how spacious the room felt despite having 1 King and 1 single sofa bed which was helpful for my luggage packing and elderly parents. There was a ultra fast charging (100W) port and I thought that was very helpful. The location is also the best, nothing can beat, cross the road from Hakata station and it's there. Wish I could have booked this hotel across other parts of Japan.

Guest UserThe hotel is new with excellent service. It's super convenient, just three subway stops from the airport, a 15-minute walk to Jr Hakata Station, and 10 minutes to Canal City Hakata. The rooms are a good size, and the bathroom is spacious. The lobby is on the second floor and offers various amenities.

Guest UserThe location was superb as it's just a few steps away from the underground entrance to the metro. There's also a 24Hr supermarket just minutes walk from the hotel above ground or if it's raining you can take the metro underground walkway which will also get you right to the entrance of supermarket. There are a few drug stores nearby (for medicine / cosmetics) and some open till 9pm or even midnight. It's only a very short walk to get to Canal city shopping area which has an array of shops and dinning options.
We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was included in our room rate and it was very good with a decent amount of choices (we ended up eating there 4/5 mornings). Although the dinning area was not very big so if you're there during peak hours there could be a bit of a wait.
The room was a standard 'Dormy' room that you'd expect in almost any other Dormy Inn but for this particular hotel we felt the cleaning needs a bit of work. We have a habit of wiping down the shelves / tables before placing our things and even after three rounds of wiping with wet cloth / tissue it's still grey which shook us a bit.

Good:
Nice and spacious room, free parking good for us to drive around, powerful shower head which served strong stream and stable temperature for nice shower, big beds, convenient shops, food and big AEON store nearby with driving distance 5 mins, nice night lounge with free flow crafted beer, popcorn, and bbq marshmallow, my daughter requested to go every night
But if you’re not coming with a car, it’s sorta inconvenient

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the station, and there's a small park nearby. The room itself is quite spacious by Japanese standards, has everything you need, and is very clean.
The breakfast is delicious, with a wide selection (they even have steak!). We really enjoyed it and will be back.

Guest UserWe enjoyed our stay at KOKO Hotel Premier Hakata. The location is very convenient, with easy access to Hakata Station and many nearby attractions. There is also a convenience store right next door, which was extremely handy during our stay.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and responded promptly whenever assistance was needed. The hotel and guest rooms were tidy and well maintained.
One thing to note is that daily room cleaning is not provided, so while the room was generally clean and comfortable, I would not rate it at the highest level of cleanliness compared with hotels that provide daily housekeeping service.
Amenities such as toothbrushes, tea, and other supplies are available at the lobby for guests to collect as needed, which is a practical and environmentally friendly approach.
Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with good service, and I would consider staying here again when visiting Fukuoka.

I got used to it just being my second time I'm staying in the hotel. But that's one thing that I have to somehow bring up here because both times my taxi driver had terrible time finding the location. The second time was horrible I was taking a ride around the whole city and I'm totally convinced that the taxi driver was honest but he just did not seem to have the web with all to find this location and after an hour and a half we did find it. It cost me some money of course. You should somehow publicize the address of this place together with in English as well as say in Japanese. The hardest time I think was the second taxi driver who was older. Otherwise the location itself really isn't bad because it's quite Central and very close to excellent restaurants. Once I got used to it then everything else fell into place. I even used the laundry without problem. And I really do like the idea that I'm not bothered by anything else and I come in and out the way that I want at all times of the day and night. On the last day however there was a fire alarm which turned out to be false. It was difficult for me as an 83-year-old man to carry all my luggage down seven flights of stairs. Otherwise I thought it was okay. One more thing The first time I left I forgot to check out and that was my fault and I apolog. The second time however it was impossible for me to check out even with my room number and my last name. You should correct that.
