Una recensione positiva è doverosa. Leggere per capire: ho prenotato senza prima leggere le recensioni negative sulla pulizia e, dopo averlo fatto, ho tentato in tutti i modi di annullare la prenotazione, ma senza riuscirci, perché il gli operatori del call center del tour operator che gestisce la struttura mi hanno detto chiaramente e con maleducazione che le recensioni avrei dovuto leggerle prima. Ho, quindi, raggiunto la struttura con non poca ansia riguardo alla scarsa pulizia, ma, giunti, abbiamo trovato un albergo che, anche se datato, é davvero accogliente. La stanza assegnataci era pulita e in buone condizioni (no muffe, ruggini o altre cose lette). Il personale è professionale e gentile, in particolare Elisabetta, alla reception, e Diego, al ristorante, sono stati di un'affabilità e cortesia eccezionali, per cui, se torneremo a Ponte di Legno, riprenderemo in considerazione questa struttura. L'unica nota dolente, quindi, rimane quella del tour operator, il cui personale non sa gestire eventuali lamentele del cliente. Il mio consiglio? Veniteci, ma prenotate chiamando direttamente l'albergo.

If you are looking for comfortable and affordable accommodation in Desenzano, here it is! The hotel and all the amenities are wonderful (notably the comfy bed, the delicious breakfast, and the well-maintained rental bikes). But what stands out most of all is the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. A wonderful place full of wonderful people!

Fabulous location, just off the main square and the bars/restaurants. Boats/ferry virtually on the doorstop, so never had to go too far if we didn't want to. Train station about 15 mins walk away, easier downhill, not so quick on the way up with bags! For some reason I was expecting a smaller family run hotel. It seemed to be much bigger than I expected and that 'family feel' was lacking unfortunately. Majority of the time there was no one at reception and other than one staff member (or family) the rest seemed pretty uninterested. The hotel room was brown and although had 2 windows, looked onto the back of the building making the room felt quite dark. It was quiet though as long as the windows were closed and the room was clean. A continental breakfast was included. We were there for a week and unfortunately after the first couple of days there was no fruit available and from day 3/4 most of the breakfast offerings were mostly gone at least half hour before breakfast ended, which led to a few disgruntled guests and a few leaving still hungry. Other than breakfast, we did eat at the hotel a couple of times. The food was nice, though I felt a bit overpriced. Service was good on the first occasion but pretty indifferent on the second occasion. It felt like the owners' priority was on running the restaurants, which were busy, both at lunchtime and evening. The hotel was very convenient but overpriced for what it offered...but then I guess we went peak time...! I don't think I would rebook the hotel if I was to go back to Desanzano.

Overal a good experience at this hotel. Positive points: - very nice jacuzzi on the rooftop. You can reserve per half an hour slots. - very clean rooms - good location if you want to stay in the south of Garda - good breakfast, but many pies and cakes. I find it difficult to understand why Italians eat that at breakfast. There are many other options served though, therefore this doesn’t pose an issue. Negative points: - no fridge in the room. Especially during hot summer it’s difficult - booking said parking included for free but that’s not true. There is parking down the street and that’s what they actually mean. Their own parking garage is 50€ a night. I don’t find it correct that this isn’t advertized correctly. I heard several guests complain about this. It would be better to communicate this correctly. - their elevator is really scary. It’s old and doesn’t feel safe. Sometimes you also have to wait more than 5 minutes for it to arrive. You also can’t take the stairs as alternitive- we searched but couldn’t find another way to the rooftop. Besides these few negative points the hotel is actually great. I would recommend it as the room is nice, clean & with a balcony where you can relax.

For the price paid we didn't expect it to be so nice. Warm friendly atmosphere. Nice staff. Buffet breakfast was good and food from restaurant was great and good value.
