AAizaad RasidOur family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) from Singapore recently stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate the New Year. As our first trip to China, we were blown away by the beauty of Sanya and the hospitality of this villa. Exceptional Service & Elderly Friendly The service was immaculate from start to finish. The complimentary railway station transfer was a lifesaver. The manager, who was also our driver, was incredibly punctual and went above and beyond to assist with our heavy luggage and my grandfather’s wheelchair. A special mention to our young housekeeper; despite the language barrier, his warmth and professionalism made our check-in effortless. The villa is perfect for multi-generational families—the ground-floor bedroom was ideal for my grandfather’s accessibility. Fun for the Whole Family The basement was the highlight of our stay. Our children spent hours learning pool, while the arcade machine in the bedroom brought back great memories for the adults. Outside, the back gate leads directly to the beach. We were right next to the Crowne Plaza, where they have buckets and shovels prepared for kids to share and a kiosk selling a great variety of popsicles to enjoy by the sea. Location & Travel Tips Haitang Bay is stunning. It features the world’s largest duty-free mall and arguably the best beaches on the island. For Muslim Travelers: Halal food is more concentrated in Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay, so plan your meals accordingly if staying in Haitang Bay. Guest Discounts: Be sure to ask the staff about yacht charters! We enjoyed a great discount on a private boat trip just by staying here. Weather: For those coming from Southeast Asia, the weather here is perfect in late December—dry, sunny, and very comfortable. Helpful Notes for Future Guests Room Layout: The top-floor bedroom has a unique open-bathroom design and no wardrobe. It’s a stylish arrangement, but good to know for privacy planning. Skin Sensitivity: A few of our family members have very sensitive skin (like eczema) and reacted to the swimming pool water. This is just a note for those with similar skin types, and perhaps something the villa can look into for the future. The Beach: The waves can be quite strong and the wind can be high, so do check the tides before heading out. Conclusion Watching the 1.1 New Year fireworks and drone displays away from the usual crowds was worth every cent. Sanya is a clean, safe, friendly, and beautiful city. This villa is a hidden gem that we would recommend to anyone. We could actually see ourselves living here!

KKiean Kaih JohnsonOur transport got us to the wrong location the first time, but after calling the front desk, the reception lady was very kind to quickly zip over on an electric scooter and brought us to the correct location which was just about 100m away. There were locals staying in the apartment block too, some accommodations were rented out for tourists. Comfortable 2-room private apartment for 4 adults, with 2 rooms and double beds, 1 common shower, wash area and toilet. Kitchenette equipped with refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, crockery, cutlery and some food preparation tools. Living/dining room had a TV, coffee table, 3-seater sofa, dining table and 4 chairs. Balcony had a washing machine with capsule detergent, drying rack, a couple of outdoor chairs. A nice sea view awaits with views of surrounding apartments. Morning/afternoon sun shone onto the balcony nicely, providing warmth and excellent for drying clothes. Need to request floormat at the shower area, digital lock was hard to open at times, remote for TV wasn't working but reception resolved quickly. You can link up with reception via WeChat for any queries or requests. At ground level there're just 1 or 2 grocery shops and about 3 eateries, but not very lively. About 10mins walk, you can reach a shopping mall/arcade with a very large supermarket and there you can get lots of snacks, drinks and a variety of other day to day items. Lots of eating places at the shopping mall too. Although the apartment is quite out of the way, just call DiDi as its very fast to arrive and took us to many places.

MM28x63pug****We stayed in guesthouses all the way from Haikou, and this one seemed to be the best deal. The apartment felt like it was more than 120 square meters, with two bathrooms for convenience. Cars could drive right up to the building, and it was a two-unit-per-floor layout. There were a few restaurants and supermarkets nearby, not many, but enough. Alternatively, there were plenty of places to eat near the duty-free shop. Driving was very convenient; you could drive around the back of the complex to reach the beach, or exit the highway and walk to the beach. The beach wasn't crowded, which was nice, perfect for sand digging, and it was clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, suitable for cooking simple breakfasts for the kids. The host was very nice.

The design style is just as familiar and appealing. **Restaurant:** As always, the menu is extensive, and the beverage selection is plentiful. **Facilities:** The decor is new, and all essential amenities are well-stocked. **Cleanliness:** Excellent. There were no mosquitoes or insects in the room. **Environment:** Located right by the sea, close to Wuzhizhou Island. It's a one-minute walk to the beach and a ten-minute trip to catch the Wuzhizhou Island shuttle boat. **Service:** Extremely thoughtful. Not only do they provide a dedicated shuttle service, but also an exclusive welcome afternoon tea. If I wasn't in the room when food was delivered, they would immediately inquire and patiently wait.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the beach. It's a hotel converted from a fourth-generation residence. The room was great, and the balcony offered a lovely view of the sea and distant scenery. The room was exceptionally clean, and the service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious, and we had a table facing the ocean with a good orientation, so we weren't directly in the sun while eating. It was a fantastic stay.

GGuest UserWe spent a total of three weeks traveling through China, and this hotel was definitely one of our favorites. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with a stunning panoramic view of both the sea and the city. We even had a bathtub, and everything felt fresh, modern, and very well maintained. The staff truly went above and beyond and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. As vegetarians, we mentioned our preference for breakfast, and the staff went out of their way to stock up on delicious vegetarian food from the local market every morning, making sure we were well taken care of. We were always helped with transportation, picked up or dropped off when needed, and any questions we had—especially about buses or getting around—were answered patiently and kindly. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an amazing view, and while it’s not overly crowded with photographers and models, it’s still close enough to be right in the middle of the action, yet slightly tucked away. We felt very comfortable and at home here. If you walk a bit along the beach, you can easily find quieter spots to relax. The only minor downside was the nightly fireworks, which could be a bit loud until around 11:30 pm. That said, watching the fireworks from our panoramic windows was truly beautiful, and everything quieted down by midnight at the latest. Overall, a wonderful hotel that we can highly recommend.

GGuest UserThe location was good, and everything else was fine. The only inconvenience was having to wait for someone from the guesthouse to guide us to our room. However, a really disappointing experience was discovering the price discrepancy. I booked on May 12th for 240 a night, but on May 22nd, the day of check-in, I saw the price had dropped to 187 a night. That 60 difference felt like a total rip-off, and to make matters worse, I couldn't even cancel the booking!

ZZee SangsI did a staycation solo for one night, I throughly enjoyed my stay it was nice and peaceful not too many people. The hotel looked exactly like it is on the pictures I saw before booking it. The front desk ladies are friendly and welcoming, one lady even speaks English which is convenient if you can’t speak Chinese. It’s right in the village, perfect location not too far from the beach either a 10 minute ride. My booking came with a free photoshoot which was really nice, went for a run in the morning past the lake super refreshing. I highly recommend the place.
