WWenyihuyueguangxiajiuComing from the north, we were absolutely blown away by the service at this hotel! They offer afternoon tea daily and a late-night snack, plus thoughtful little extras like eye masks and earplugs. Since Guizhou is often rainy, they even provide umbrellas for guests. The room has a mini-fridge that's restocked daily with water and drinks, and it's kept sparkling clean. Every day, they proactively ask if we'd like our bedding changed. The smart controls in the room are powered by Xiao Du, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. After a long day of sightseeing, it's lovely to sit by the window, relax, and have some snacks and drinks. The hotel's design is also very artistic. Located in the Huaguoyuan community, it's super convenient for ordering food delivery. We were just transiting through Guiyang, and it was close to our travel connections too. All in all, we had a fantastic stay!

There are so many well-established eateries within walking distance, including vegetarian noodles, the 'Right Coffee' shop, and Dou Mi Hotpot, all just about a 10-15 minute walk away. The room, as always, was high quality, making it a reliable and worry-free choice. Staying at a Ji Hotel always makes my trips so much easier.

Secondly: it is located on the 8th floor of a commercial tower.
As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside.
as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight.
Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information.
How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess.
In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place.
Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night.
There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift.
I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

GGuest UserThe first day I reached this hotel asking the lobby counter service the direction to their Guiyang train station he told us it's a 10 to 15 mins walk depending on individual speed. The direction was a bit of twist and turn and he bothered to take his time to bring us half way there till it was a straight walk to the station and that time was 7pm in the evening so cold. That was very heart warming. Next, is the 1st breakfast I had in this hotel, there is only one lady preparing breakfast there in the morning and she greeted us with a big smile, preparing the noodle to almost exactly what we wanted, ofcos, we're from a different country, we cannot expect 100%. And the last day of our stay knowing that we're taking the highspeed train to Kunming she even packs noodles for us to eat on the train. That was too heart warming.

Environment: The location is great! It's very close to the high-speed train station, about a ten-minute walk away. You can even see the station from the window, and despite being so close, it's surprisingly quiet.
Service: The front desk staff was very welcoming and spoke softly. They even upgraded my room for free! My normal check-out time was 12 PM, but since I checked in late, they extended it to 2 PM.
Facilities: The facilities are good, but what really impressed me was the bathroom's Bluetooth connectivity, allowing me to play music while getting ready. As someone who loves listening to music while freshening up, this was a fantastic feature – it really set a great vibe, and the sound quality was excellent.

The layout is very stylish, and every corner is full of details. It feels like returning to my warm home. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the sleep quality has improved. The front desk lady is also very warm and considerate. Not only did she inform me of various check-in matters in advance, but she also patiently recommended nearby food and fun places. GGuest UserGreentree Eastern Hotel is the largest airport hotel in Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, located at AC Park. It has four towers. Check-in is at the fourth tower. I thank the receptionist for reserving an aircraft-flying-view room at the third tower. Focal length of an aircraft taking off from Guiyang is 200mm to 400mm above.
I choose to stay at Greentree Eastern Hotel because the hotel does not charge room key deposit and it is the newest airport hotel opposite the Guiyang airport Terminal 3. I also want to test plane-spotting at this hotel. Besides, the nearest place to enjoy lunch and dinner is of less than one minute walk from the hotel, also at AC Park, and I get to enjoy extremely cheap Guizhou cuisine. I am very happy that I have selected the right airport hotel.
During my vacation at Greentree Eastern Hotel, two incidents happened.
Firstly, the receptionist told me that to print my boarding passes, I need to forward the online boarding passes via WeChat for the hotel to print the boarding pass. However, I explained to the receptionists that I have difficulties in using WeChat after registering an account. One of the receptionists helped me forward one boarding pass to his email address and from his email address to the hotel printer on Friday. I got the first online boarding pass in black and white.
On Saturday morning, I attempted the same but the other receptionst-on-duty refused to help me.
The other incident is at the hotel restaurant Bellagio (鹿港小镇). There is no restaurant staff to take the breakfast vouchers. Therefore, many guests have taken advantage of eating breakfast at the restaurant for free and before 7.30 am, many breakfast items were snapped up.
I hope that Greentree Eastern Hotel can provide better printing service and enforce the rule that a restaurant staff should be at the reception desk of the restaurant to collect the breakfast vouchers.
Other than the above, I will stay here again for plane-spotting purpose if necessary.

Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it.
