GGuest UserWe chose this guesthouse for our Chinese New Year trip to Wuzhen. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming. We were a group of three adults and one child, and stayed in the third-floor suite. The hostess thoughtfully provided an extra comforter and pillow for us. The environment was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The location is also quite convenient, just a few hundred meters from the scenic area. Definitely recommend!

DDashouqianxiaoshou。Like a 'branch of spring' offered from Jiangnan, this stay was a true delight. It's the perfect choice for a large family or two to three smaller families traveling together, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the most authentic Jiangnan water town experience.
The traditional, all-wood local residence, while some of its amenities might not be as modern as those in standard hotels, offered a unique and poetic atmosphere by the water that no star-rated hotel could ever hope to replicate.
Our hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming. She proactively contacted us before our trip with essential information, met us by the roadside upon arrival to assist with parking, and patiently walked us through every detail of our stay. She even went above and beyond by preparing breakfast for us for two days. The Jiangnan-style stir-fried bamboo shoots with pickled vegetables, golden scrambled eggs, and freshly made toppings generously ladled over steaming noodles truly melted away the chill of the crisp water town mornings.

GGuest UserWu Zhen not too far from Shanghai City.We book a home stay near to the side gate.owner of inn is very welcoming.We had a trishaw ride around the old village outside wuzhen by the owner friend.The uncle is very warm and ride us around the old village .He was our tour guide ,photographer plus bringing us to the small shops outside the village.He introduced us to a riverside eatery where we had lunch and the dishes was delicious with riverside view.We took so many photographs with the different shops.It was a value trip for the trishaw ride.The home stay was pleasant with a very big projector tv screen.Will stay here again if I am at Wu Zhen.

MMiyangdejiyiThe location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Dongzha, Xizha, and Nanzha. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, coffee shops, pharmacies, small supermarkets, and even massage spas – really convenient! The hotel reception also offers free stamps of Wuzhen attractions, which is a nice touch.
To be honest, I'd never stayed in a guesthouse before, having only experienced 2-5 star hotels for business and leisure. Given that I have no guesthouse comparisons, and considering the price of just over a hundred yuan a night, here’s my review:
First, soundproofing: The sound insulation between rooms and between the hallway and rooms is comparable to a standard hotel. Occasionally, I'd hear cars passing outside, but it wasn't overly noisy or disturbing.
Cleanliness: The bedding was very clean, and as someone with sensitive skin, I had no issues during my three-night stay. The bathroom was also good, even providing disposable toilet seat covers, which is more comprehensive than most hotels!
Service attitude: Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning was prompt. Knowing I was from the north, they reminded me to turn on the air conditioning upon entering the room, but early spring in Jiangnan was surprisingly cold, so I ended up asking for a second duvet on the second day.
Facilities: While it's only a bit over a hundred yuan a night, and considering the accommodation quality, I shouldn't really nitpick, but I do want to mention one minor drawback: there was no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. 😥

DDuc ThanlenhuI was truly surprised by the hotel owner’s hospitality. He drove all the way to the West Gate to pick up my family, carried all five pieces of luggage back to the hotel while we went to visit the old town at the West Gate. At 10:30 p.m., he even came by to take us back to the hotel to sleep.
The room was very clean and tidy, fully equipped with hot water, a heater, and a beautiful view overlooking the canal. That day, he enthusiastically showed us where to eat and explore, and even drove us to the bus station for our trip to Shanghai. Thanks so much.

GGuest UserI went out with friends and saw this store on **. It had high ratings and affordable prices, so I made a reservation without hesitation. When I arrived at the store, I found it was a great value for money. Although the exterior of the building is a bit old, once you enter the store, you will see a completely different scene, a Jiangnan water town style, somewhat far away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Friends like this style very much. It is simple but not simple, fresh and refined. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic and asked some questions about local culture and transportation. They answered patiently and enthusiastically gave suggestions. The overall style of the room continues the Jiangnan style of the lobby, and the hygiene is very clean. The TV can also cast the screen on the mobile phone, so there is no delay in watching dramas during rest. Generally speaking, this store is the first choice in this price range. It is very cost-effective and you get what you pay for. We can't spend 10 yuan and ask for 100 yuan for service facilities. Only by asking reasonably can we cherish each other. Recommend other friends to stay here. I will come again next time and give the store a thumbs up👍👍👍
