Wingate by Wyndham Garner/Raleigh South

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a Wingate by Wyndham Garner/Raleigh South. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the day of my departure, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the entire establishment. The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere as I entered the hotel. The staff at the front desk greeted me with smiles and were helpful. In the room the linens were fresh, the surfaces were spotless, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. It was evident that the hotel placed a high priority on maintaining a hygienic environment for its guests. Throughout my stay, I also explored the hotel's facilities. The dining area, fitness center, and lounges were all clean and well-organized. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, you can rest assured that your stay at this hotel will be an enjoyable and memorable one.

I have stayed at this location 3 times over 5 years when visiting family. The price through web offers is very reasonable. I am easy to please and my stay was fine. The conditions overall are tired, and a little beat up. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The mattress was a little less than good, but again, not terrible just old. The TV and channels are extremely limited with no premium access, no guide, and generally no tech options at all. The remote is so old it rattles and the front desk noted that they might be 30 years old and battery changes don't solve always help, but I was brought ann alternative remote that was marginally better. The area that the hotel is in seems to have trended down, as it is mostly used cars, and otherwise industrial. However, it is very convenient to main roads and access points. The most shocking part of my stay was walking into the lobby mid-day to the overwhelming odor of flatulence!!! Someone Cleary didn't see the need to step outside and the venting of the lobby was nil, as the stink was still there when I left again an hour later. A bit shocking to say the least...so, I may be shopping around for other options next time because they aren't investing in the property to maintain their 2 star standards.

The staff and hotel are excellent. The only thing I did not like was that the door frame and door inside the bathroom were water damaged.

The woman that sets up breakfast was so helpful. She made both of my waffles for me and had a pleasant spirit. I didn't catch her name but she may have been in her 50s or early 60s.

We stay here quite often the property is very nice it's quiet I like the convenience of dining in the area very close and shopping

Bathrooms were the biggest let down. Waiting in line behind staff for a disappointing breakfast was not what I'm used to.

As soon as we walked in we could smell bleach and laundry which is always a good sign. Check in/out process was a breeze. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. We didn’t grab breakfast but they had a waffle maker and lots of goodies out. We will definitely be back.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean . It was very quiet no load noises or people in the halls at all hours
