Good shower, clean, however slightly far from train station. Near to RNSH.

Good hotel

The hotel was okay, pretty basic, more of a motel style and doesn’t live up to the claims it makes. My main concern was that the main door to the hotel was left open early during the morning and late at night - I’m actually not sure if it ever closed. Meaning that anyone from the streets could access inside the hotel. Especially as the receptionists were often not in the little shed - plus how would they ever know? The rooms are locked using a standard key making me feel super unsafe, resulting in me putting furniture against the wall overnight and also taking most personal belongings out with me during the day. The rooms were okay but quite outdated, a lot of the furniture was actually broken and the toilet struggled to flush. The fan was also super noisy and the floorboards creaked everytime you took a step. Definitely not newly renovated as it states, or at least in my room. It also states that the rooms are soundproof - can DEFINITELY confirm that they are not and you can hear every phone call, conversation and other unpleasant things from other people’s rooms. Definitely kept me awake most nights. The breakfast was standard and good especially for a quick snack in the morning, and I was happy that the room came with a kettle and fridge. But was a shame that there was no cutlery. Overall, my stay was bearable but I wouldn’t come back nor would I recommend to my friends.

Our room was in the smaller building behind the main building, up narrow, unclean stairs. On the inside of the door to the room the lock, the door chain and door closer were all coming away from the door - secutity was a joke. The carpet was threadbare and filthy. One of the bathroom walls had 3 holes in it, 2 were partially filled. The soap which the previous guests had used was left in the bathroom, and the towels they had used and hung in the closet to dry, because there was nowhere else to hang them, were still there. The curtain was coming off its rails. Parking in the hotel's garage was an extremely tight fit. This was a very dissapointing experience, particularly as the hotel was advertised as recently renovated and cleanliness was so poor.

Clean and comfortable, with everything you need, close to St Leonards station and shops in Crow's Nest. Easy check-inand checkout. The only minor gripe I had is that the kettle couldn't fit under the tap in the sink.

The receptionist was lovely and nice on arrival. Unfortunately the parking was extremely limited and near impossible to park, there was also mould throughout the bathroom and the bed bowed which made it difficult to sleep.

A quaint property with basic amenities. Pleasant continental breakfast. Room was clean with fresh towels. Friendly staff. Shower very hard to regulate. No kitchen utensils provided. Parking somewhat difficult. Opening of room door not the best with furniture blocking the door opening. Value for money good.

It was a short trip. Felt cramped up in the room. For the room type, very expensive
