Amazing
SSKYTRAILFacilities: The room size is surprisingly large, I'd estimate around 30 square meters. The balcony view is quite nice. Breakfast can be ordered à la carte. The executive lounge is a bit basic, but it's good that breakfast is included.
Cleanliness: It was pretty good, but it's a bit disappointing that the housekeeping staff didn't even replenish the tea bags or clean the toilet during my multi-night stay.
Environment: It's quite close to the beach.
Service: It was okay.

GGuest UserOverall, we had a pleasant stay and the hotel left a good impression. The building is new, modern, and well maintained. The reception staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The restaurant staff were also kind, and the food was good – there was a nice variety, including fresh juices, coffee, and the option to order one dish per person from the menu daily, which was a big plus.
Regarding housekeeping, bed linens were changed regularly every few days, which was appreciated. However, the overall cleaning was not at the expected level. In particular, vacuum cleaning was not done during our stay unless we specifically requested it. This is something that could definitely be improved, especially for longer stays.
A major downside was that it was not communicated anywhere in advance that the rooftop pool would not be operational. This is the only pool in the hotel, and it was closed for renovation during our stay. To use a pool, we had to go to a neighboring building via a specially constructed bridge, which was not very convenient and did not meet expectations.
Additionally, the indoor pool and fitness facilities are not located directly in the hotel but in a neighboring one, and they are relatively small considering they are shared between two large hotels.
The hotel is located on a fairly busy and noisy street. With the windows closed, the noise is reduced, but it is still something to keep in mind.

PPassportPalsJust came back from a girls’ getaway at The Westin Dragonara Resort and it was absolutely amazing! 💃🌴 From the airport, we took a bus that dropped us right in front of the hotel 🚌 — super convenient!
The hotel is located right by the sea 🌊, with a heated pool 🔥, a beautiful terrace with direct access to the water, and stunning views all around 😍. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and spotless 🛏️✨ — just pure comfort and style.
Service was truly 5⭐️+, everyone so kind and professional 💫. The food was delicious 🍝🍷, and we loved being able to order right from our sun loungers using a QR code 📱 — they brought everything straight to us. Total relaxation! 🥰
The location couldn’t be better — close to nightlife 🎶🌙, restaurants, and bars. We were just a 5-minute walk from the old town area where everything happens. Perfect for a fun night out with the girls! 💃✨
The weather in October was just ideal — not too hot, not too cool, just perfect for chilling by the sea and exploring ☀️🌤️.
I’m 100% sure I’ll be back here next October — same time, same place! ❤️

FFai TangThe hotel is located in the heart of Saint Julies city center, adjacent to bars and nightclubs. Loud music plays until 3am every night. Although the hotel has double-glazed soundproof windows, it still makes sleep difficult unless you're a night owl. It's advisable to find accommodation farther from the nightlife district if you're not.
The hotel doesn't include a complimentary swimming pool. Access to the neighboring hotel's pool costs €20 per day per room, which may disappoint guests not wanting beach swimming. However, a public beach is just a 5-minute walk away, serving as a good alternative.
Cleanliness and hygiene are above average, but the bathroom shower has a design flaw: no curtain or screen, causing the entire bathroom floor to get wet during showers.
Hotel service: Staff are warm-hearted and patiently assist guests with requests – highly commendable!
Hotel breakfast: Since this was a family trip, we chose the 7-day breakfast package. However, the food variety remained completely unchanged every single day. For the last two days, the pancake machine malfunctioned, making the already monotonous selection even more limited. Food preparation also lacked professionalism: the scrambled eggs were disappointing daily, with powdery lumps forming. Hard-boiled eggs weren't chilled in cold water after cooking, making them extremely difficult to peel – the chefs need to pay more attention to this.

MmakeitcountWe stayed for 4 nights in Room 101. Unfortunately, there was a water leakage issue in the shower. We contacted the night shift staff, and they offered to arrange a room change the following afternoon.
The next day, we spoke again with the Thai staff member at check-in regarding the issue. He responded very professionally, immediately arranged for us to view a replacement room, and even upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi. We truly appreciated his excellent service and helpful attitude.
The hotel facilities are very good. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are free for guests to use, which was a great benefit. The sauna facilities were also excellent, especially after a workout.
However, the breakfast selection could be improved. The hot dishes remained the same every day, and watermelon was only available on one occasion during our stay.
The catering staff were polite and efficient, despite also having to support the kitchen operations.
One of the front desk ladies appeared to be a new staff member. She did not greet guests proactively and seemed to require reminders from her colleagues to complete certain tasks.
Overall, for a 4-star hotel in Malta, the hotel has good facilities and service, but there is still room for improvement, particularly in the catering and breakfast experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located at a very busy street and it can be very loud at night. It is very appropriate for young people who are interested in night life.
The bus-stop from the Airport is very close to the hotel.
The room was equipped with everything that you may need.
The breakfast was nice, not too much and too many options, but everything that was served was fresh and tasty. The staff refilled the food when needed.
The hotel was an amazing option for one-night stay, especially for late night arrivals, while the price on Trip com was unbeatable.

GGuest UserEnjoyed my stay with my partner. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. I love the rainforest restaurant in the complex. They give residents of the hotel 10% off. The food was amazing. Outdoor pool was beautiful, wish I came when the weather was better, indoor pool was also good. In general it’s an amazing location.my room was big and I enjoyed the sea view. Our room was beautifully arranged and a free bottle of champagne.

SS|RFirst time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful. Sopo, at breakfast ensured we had what we needed and Mina was fast to offer her assistance! Pradeep would make sure we were satisfied with our food and always took care to tell us what was where.
The room was clean and very spacious. We had no issues!
The hotel is in a fab place to explore with a lot of amenities near by. I would definitely recommend Intercontinental and would defo be staying here again.

GGuest UserMe and my partner stayed here for a weekend getaway jacuzzi suite. Absolutely amazing it couldn't be any better loved every moment of it. Breakfast was phenomenal, service over all 10/10. It's on a ***** so you will hear music at night , didn't bother me at all. Lively, will definitely love it if your a party person. There was a slight smell in the hall ways aswell but once again it didn't bother me. Highly recommend beautiful hotel. I can't find words to describe how beautiful it was.

GGuest UserDuring the initial booking I made a mistake and booked the wrong room, I spotted my mistake right away (20 sec after initial booking) after asking to rebook and even pay more for the other room, I just received negative response. They told me I can’t cancel my booking or change a room. For this alone I would give 0/5 to this hotel. I only been told in a email I can’t get any refund and if I want to cancel they will charge me even a cancellation fee.
Breakfast was really good 5/5 there.
Room key didn’t work in 2 occasions (I solved issues fast but it’s just inconvenient).
We got one bottle of water on a first day and that was it.
Room was nice, location is great. However I wouldn’t recommend this hotel just because they care more about their profit than their customers.
