St. Ives Holiday Village

We stayed in a Platinum Lodge with a hot tub. The surroundings were beautiful, lovely to hear all of the birds singing and watching the squirrels run around. We didn't really use the onsite facilities so can really comment on those we did have a wander around though and everything looked clean and nice. We did book swimming at 7pm the night before and had no problem booking at this time, we cancelled our session as the time was no longer suitable for us the next day and no slots were available for other times so do recommend booking at 7pm the night before via the app. I miss the days when you didn't have to plan everything that's a personal opinion and not a negative on the site. Our lodge was beautiful, the tv's weren't smart tvs, we took a now to stick with us so we could watch Netflix and the WiFi on site was great. I also like how you didn't feel rammed in with lots of space around you. It was a great base to explore from and only a short drive from the main town of St Ives , Penzance and 30 mins drive from Lands End. The staff we did speak to were all helpful. I would definitely return there.

My family of 9 and myself enjoyed our stay here. The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly and always went the extra mile to make us welcome. For anyone who wants to make memories to last a lifetime, you must visit here. Thank you for having us

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and both times it’s been a pleasure. The site is placed out of the way amongst peaceful and pleasant woodlands, with a swimming pool, outdoor tennis tables, a small park, and a woodland walk. The site is about 5-10 min drive to the beach (depending which one you want to go to) and there’s plenty of beaches in St Ives to walk along (even in windy/wet weather). It’s also only about 35 mins drive to the likes of St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, and some other fantastic days out. The first time we stayed in a gold lodge and it was in perfect condition. After staying in many a caravan/lodge, this one blew us away with the amount of storage and space! This time we stayed in the platinum 2-bed lodge with a Hot Tub and what a value for money! We did have a couple of teething issues but every time we spoke to someone they had a maintenance team within 30 mins - stellar service! The lodge was warm, well looked after, the hot tub wasn’t overlooked, and there was beyond enough space and storage for the four of us. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful - you really couldn’t ask for more (especially for what you pay). We’ve already booked again! Highly recommend.

Some initial teething issues but overall a good stay. We arrived in the chucking down rain, were quickly issued with a key and a welcome pack. Reception was closed slightly earlier than advertised but the bar staff were friendly and helpful. The caravan was spotless (we went for a gold) and we were impressed to find a full size fridge and freezer along with dishwasher and cooker. There was a small welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid. The master bedroom had a tv and an en-suite with a bath and shower. We soon ran into an issue with the key, it wouldn’t lock the caravan. However, this was sorted out promptly. Our neighbours did mention that other people had issues with the key and when we arrived a key was in the door (which we assumed was a spare) so it was a shame that this hasn’t been sorted because staff members would have known and it was the only thing I could really find fault with. After driving 5 hours wasn’t how I wanted to start things off. The entertainment was as you’d expect on a smaller holiday park. Bar prices were very expensive. The restaurant food was limited but good value for money. Whilst on holiday we used the pool, you have to book 7pm the day before. The pool was clean and the lifeguard was really friendly and helpful. Pool toys were in as standard which was a nice touch. Location is great, with St Ives a short drive or there is actually a bus stop on site. There are some lovely Woodland Walks on site also and plenty of green space. Overall I would recommend (in fact my mum is visiting in a few weeks).

Checked in on Friday 18th and leaving tomorrow (Monday) really wish we could stay longer. The park facilities are small but perfectly formed. Set in beautiful woodlands our accomodation gold caravan lodge 3 was perfect. It had erything we could need for cooking, was very clean and included dishwasher, washing machine tea towels milk coffee, tea sachets...I could go on. Absolute bargain for the price we paid and we will definily return. St ives and Hayle are idilic. Our new favourite British destination.

Lovely stay at St Ives Holiday Village once again. Such a lovely site and not far from the main Harbour. Staff lovely. Especially Jill from the swimming pool. Very friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Will defiantly be booking to go again this year
