Walisons Hotel

Was travelling with family and the offer by ***ager Mr.Sajaf of family room with 2 king size beds was what made us pick this hotel, ofcourse after seeing the earlier reviews and and they way in which Mr.Sajad talked.And after reaching the place, which we checked in at around 10 am, we found it extremely convenient for our family with two kids 14 n 13.. Restaurant offers good food, but as main chef was on leave , I think Mr Abid was running the show all alone and was doing every justice to his job..Overall ,the staff was polite, (MrShahid at front office was so soft spoken and humble ) and helpful.Walisons hotel is a very safe place, very near to dal Lake (50mtrs or so) and offers convenient stay.. Appreciate Mr.Sajad and his team and all the best for future..

The cuisines are very nice with a wonderful decorations , it was worth a bite. Prepared by chief ***zoor. Great hospitality by Abid Hossain. Amazing ambiance. Wonderful at depicting Kashmiri calinary. Worth a visit surrounded greenery.

Location is near dal lake but inside a road so no view. We booked deluxe room and it was very small. Bathrooms are small too. It’s old property. Rooms smell of wood. They don’t serve buffet breakfast instead they give it in room only. Totally disappointed for money paid. Not worth the money spent. There are other really good new hotels in dal to book.

Best place to stay! Rooms were spacious and the services were just great. The ***ager Mr Sajad took great pains to attend to our needs and comfort. He even planned a trip for us to Pahalgam and back. Location was very close to Ghat No 2 at Dal Lake. Lots of eateries around the area.

The room was clean. The washroom was also working nicely. The staff and the ***agement was helpful. very near to the lake you can easily walk to the lake. The nearest Ghat will be Ghat number two the central heater was also working and the room was warm enough to spend the cold night.

Best in hospitality, food , location. Had a great time and wonderful experience. Mr. Sajad is a wonderful host who takes care of his guests. He also provided us with taxi service for Gulmarg. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The food served was excellent in taste

Nice & Clean hotel just about 200 mts from Dal Ghat 2. I stayed for 3 days, overall it was a pleasant stay. You will get ***y budget eateries and shops within walking distance. Can sit, walk around dal lake walls. Everything is nearby. The hotel staff is decent.

A nice quaint hotel near Dal lake with Kashmiri vibes. The interiors are largely wooden, rooms are decent, the service is good. Food has got limited options, but taste is fine. There are multiple options nearby, the best ones being Stream Restaurant and Winterfell cafe. Recommended
