Spa Hotels in Chiang Mai

I am not a person who likes to write reviews, so I don't even plan to share photos. But this time I really want to tell other visitors to Chiang Mai’s Old Town that this is a small villa-style hotel that is extremely delicate and carefully managed. The greenery is well-designed, and there are no common tropical mosquitoes, geckos or even rats in the room. The main reception/restaurant serves the little Thai girl who speaks excellent Chinese and has a great accent. Her manners are simply a standard model. Before I left, I asked her her name. Her Chinese name is ”Li Tingting” and she smiled while covering her mouth. The Thai name is View. Oh, and the breakfast buffet, there are different dishes every day, very good. I used to stay at the Sheraton in Malaysia for 7 days. Although there are many more dishes, it was exactly the same for 7 days.

It's worth the price with the environment and decoration for what I am paying due to advance booking without cancellation. Pros: 1. Nice ancient decoration 2. Water temperature is hot enough for the shower tank 3. Spacious and acceptable cleanliness 4. Strategic location (within walking distance to most of the temples and have 7eleven nearby) Cons: 1. Doesn't equipped with small fridge (you can not keep your drinks chill if you plan to enjoy any drinks in the room, unless you buy some ice cubes) 2. The pillow is too soft which I personally prefer harder pillow. 3. The pressure of the shower head would be better if it can be stronger (P.S. I am staying at room located at ground floor). The breakfast variety is not alot but is enough for breakfast, which basically covering 2 main dish, 1 clear soup, yogurt, fruits and salad, cereals, fruit juice, coffee and tea, bread and pastry.

The hotel operates on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis, so even if you write a request through Trip.com, the staff will completely disregard what you’ve written. That said, I understand because the room I booked didn’t allow me to select specific options from the start. However, I’m not sure if I was expecting too much attention to detail. Additionally, some front desk staff are not as polite as those at other hotels I’ve stayed at. If you have specific needs regarding the type of bed, I would recommend carefully considering this before booking.

We both got sick from khao soi soup. Service at pool non existing. Had to walk into the restaurant to order more drinks and then again to pay. Roomservice in evening didnt answer phone 20min before closing. Called front office to help in this situation, they said sorry cant help you. Like, didnt even bother to hesitatw. Breakfast buffet later in the morning luke warm food. Not sure what is happening F&B wise on management level. From 02.30 till 04.30 had loud french people talking on the balcony keeping us awake. No faith in front office to help, so didnt bother then and accepted a bad night sleep. Shower options worked poorly. Hygiene was ok, but nosquitos plenty. Garden surrounding hotel was beautifull. Wont be enough to stay again. Neither will i go to Centara again. Spend 20 euro more and stay at any marriott. Dissapointed.

old but very amazing, very authentic. i felt myself like in the old city lost in jungles, like the hero of Tomb Raider )) Excellent breakfast. Two large enough swimming pools. Staff are very helpful and polite. 10 minutes walking from the train station. Unfortunately, there was not a dryer to dry my clothes and swimming suit after a pool. ;(

But the room facilities are similar to those of a hotel. Can you understand a hotel? I didn't even say it was a hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, I didn't sleep well all night, it was very average, The sound insulation was very poor, and the sound of the motorcycle was very clear in the middle of the night The shower room in the bathroom was very average, the shower head was sometimes big and sometimes small, and it sprayed everywhere. The toilet was also the same as the hotel I wanted to wash clothes in the sink, but the plug was broken. There was no hand soap. There was no toothbrush, and I had to ask for it. The air conditioner was very loud, and my room didn't cool very much. Before going to bed, I found that the lights were all broken and flickered. There were water stains on the side of the swimming pool that had not been treated. Others at this price also have heated swimming pools, but it has cold water. There was only one room card, and there were too many points to complain about. I changed rooms today. I won't say that I compared it with the Brisli at a similar price. It really beats it in all aspects, except that the location of this hotel is indeed good. But I didn't expect it to be worse than a hotel under 300. Why don't you stay at 99 Gallery? It's much better than this one. If you still stay here after reading my review, you are all brave.

We had a really beautiful room with riverview. The staff was very nice and we had a really good time.

Booked Anantara for two nights on October 4 and 5. On October 4, the Ping River flooded and the area around the hotel was flooded. We coordinated to cancel the hotel in the morning, but Ctrip reported that the agent negotiated with the hotel and did not refund because everything was normal in the hotel. I still have doubts about this and will write about it later. Because there was no refund, we still checked into the hotel on October 4. All trucks were used for pick-up and drop-off. The water had already flooded to the waist and chest. At the same time, the truck pick-up required a very long wait. On October 4, the hotel was reinforcing the defense line by the river, and it may have been reinforced again by the swimming pool at night. We lived on the first floor and did not let us move to the second floor. At 6 o'clock in the morning on October 5, the flood broke through the defense line and flooded into our room on the first floor. We had to flee in a hurry. The hotel did not contact us to move to the second floor when the flood came in or in the middle of the night. We started to escape from the hotel at 6 o'clock, and were finally rescued from Anantara with the help of a tour group after 10 o'clock. At the same time, after escaping, we contacted to cancel the hotel on the 5th, but all hotel communications were interrupted at that time. But the platform said that the agent contacted the hotel and agreed to refund. So the question is, how can the agent contact the hotel for a refund when the hotel is completely disconnected from the communication? The whole hotel is in a mess. So I guess it was the agent who refused to refund before? (Platform Agent Hotel, who is not refunding? I still have doubts) Ctrip has helped me deal with the loss of the first night and gave me some compensation. The second night was also refunded because the hotel has also suspended operations. The hotel is very beautiful inside. After the flood came, the staff also tried their best to help us. I am very grateful. But the problem of the hotel management is too big. When the flood came, they did not refund and let people take risks to stay. They knew that the water level was rising and did not let everyone move to the second floor. They did not prepare rescue vehicles in advance, etc. The hotel management is really for making money and does not worry about safety at all.

I was attracted by the swimming pool on the picture of the resort, however it was a little bit disappointing in fact🙈 And the location was a little bit hard to get in too, unless you liked quiet environment for stay🤔 I think the biggest advantage of this resort was the rooms were big enough as you can see😂 But there was ONE thing I was very concerned about: the lock of the door🚪 I forgot to take the picture of it but it was only a normal door lock, no other security lock on it😅 It made me feel unsecured even we lock the door🔐 To sum up, I think I won’t come back again although the breakfast was good🫣

I have stayed in this hotel several times.I like the lanna style decorations.this time,I enjoyed the spa. The hotel has maintained their standard。the only thing was not convenient in the spa is the shower room hasn’t the hooks hanging the towel and clothes.So I should ask the lady to pass them for me .this is the small thing.but I believe it’s can be better. My husband and I enjoyed the dinner very much.fair price and good service. Thank you Thank you
