SunlitStayed for 3 days with my children. Highly recommend this place. Great attention to details. You are greeted with warm tea the moment you step into the hotel. The receptionists are very welcoming. The lobby offers free coffee, playground for kids, nice reading areas with fully stacked bookshelves including nice selection of Chinese books incluiding history of Zhang Jia Jie. It also has a nice gold fish pond, chess, Go and Chinese Xiang Qi tables. What’s best for travelers like us who’s been out for a while is that they provide FREE washer and dryer! The room has Two Types of Slippers, one massage slipper for shower and one fabric for walking around, which I have never seen! And, it has Remote Controlled Curtains and AI enabled TV! In addition to central air, it also has an air purifier! Breakfast also has wide varieties including on demand noodles, rice noodles, all sorts of Chinese dishes and western salad and pastry. This place has definitely exceeded my expectations in so many areas! We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to friends and families!

Its unusual to have a hotel or homestay in China where the room in real life is actually nicer than the photos. The location is great, good view of paddy fields and the mountains and its very close to park entrance. A nice 40min or so drive from the airport and train station. They provided a free pick up from the airport. The shower is strong and hot. The tea provided in the room was interesting and good.. the tv massive. Aircon actually works, and works well. Electric switches all work well. Super quiet and dark at night. Good quality mattress and bedding. Electric toilet actually works (warm loo seat). They did our laundry for us fast, well and for free. The breakfast was excellent, traditional and very filling and tasty. Tried so many 5 star hotels and homestays in china, this is one of - if not the- best, in a quiet way.

Guest UserThe room was meticulously cleaned, bright, and well-stocked with all the essentials. The soundproofing was excellent, and the blackout curtains provided great privacy. My friends and I had a very comfortable two-day stay. The air was fresh, and we could even watch the sea of clouds from our beds. A major plus: no need to queue for the scenic area, haha!

WodemengxiangshilvxingjiaManxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.'
**Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down.
**Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare.
**Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable!
**Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests.
**In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay.
**Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this.

Sarah-1The hotel and the room are lovely. I stayed on the top floor because I wanted windows overlooking the sky.
There's a slight difference between the photos and reality in terms of proportions (the wall reaches head height from the second side of the bed).
The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, they don't speak English.
Zhangjiajie National Park is about a 20-minute walk away. The restaurants are located in front of the park, but there are also three restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
Overall, it's a pleasant hotel and staff. I recommend it.
(In the photo, we don't see the window overlooking the sky. It's just above the window visible in the photo.)

This hotel is fully equipped and conveniently located. The front desk staff are warm, attentive, and meticulous. The breakfast offers a rich variety of delicious food. The room is clean and tidy, and you can enjoy distant views of Tianmen Mountain and overlook the Lishui River, making for beautiful scenery. It's definitely the best choice when visiting Zhangjiajie! Highly recommended. It's also very close to Jishou University, and the night view is particularly beautiful. A great experience, I'd stay another night!

Guest UserThis is a very nice hotel especially for the price. The service was amazing. They let us keep our baggage there after we checked out so we could explore the city comfortably. There is plenty hot water ( I saw some reviews said there isn’t but I think that they’ve fixed that). AC works great. Bed was huge. I saw a fruit fly which is why there’s a 4/5 cleanliness. Location is sweet, close to food and 10 min walk to the Tianmenshan Cableway.
