Travelodge Southampton Central

Clean and comfortable. Especially, receptionists are kind and helpful. My cruise luggage tags can be printed efficiently! Love and highly recommended this hotel.

Great location in the centre of Southampton. Comfy beds and good breakfast.

Parking area was tiny.

Stayed here for two nights prior to cruise , great hotel , clean and friendly , great location , all the staff work tirelessly Bal and Annabel just to mention two of them, drinks are reasonably priced, will definitely be staying here again for our next cruise

Great location, hotel clean, reception staff need to improve their appearance as not a good first impression

Super room booked on a quiet floor but both anything but…Children crying and doors banging meant unpleasant night.Public areas of the hotel were dirty with the lift covered in a sticky liquid ,sweet wrappers and dropped sweets. The bed was uncomfortable and the room too hot the location meant the window couldn’t be left open.The carpet was heavily stained and the shower dirty. The receptionist on arrival and departure ,however, was very pleasant and apologetic.

Stayed in a double room for one night in April 2024 and couldn't fault it. The public areas of the hotel are clean, quiet and well maintained, and so are the rooms. This location was extensively refurbished in 2022 and has a more sleek, modern and contemporary design. The room itself was immaculate, featuring all of the usual amenities that you would expect, the bed was very comfortable as always, and so was the chair surprisingly (massive improvement on the old leather ones). There is a little external noise, but given the location on a busy main road this is to be expected and didn't affect what was otherwise a great night's sleep. Breakfast is served from 7am and as with most travelodges, is unlimited and costs just £8.99 when pre-booked. There was a wide selection of breakfast options which were all well presented and kept hot and topped up by the breakfast team. Overall a great travelodge, would highly recommend to others and will definitely stay again.

This is a basic hotel - parked up easily - entertainment was nearby, slept well - clean and tidy - good value. I had three weeks with overnights working in Lymington - price wise this was very competitive. Can't believe there is a minimum requirement of 200 characters - not sure what I can add...... Clean and tidy room.
