Early in the morning before I checked in, I booked this hotel. I received the information and gave it to me. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the foreign Ctrip customer service gave me a call saying that there was no scheduled success. The room was full, let me cancel, but they went offline. There are resources, you can help me book, but the price has gone up, I said yes, give me a reservation, let me enter the credit card, I clearly entered 3 times, have heard the success, but the foreign customer service told me that it was unsuccessful. Originally, I was in this wild car, the signal was not good, I communicated with the customer service for about half an hour or not, and then I re-booked on Ctrip with my mobile phone. I saw that there is still room, only However, the price has risen. I booked it early in the morning, and said to me in the afternoon that the room is full, I can re-book now. Is the room not full? ? ? ! ! I don't understand Ctrip's practice. I booked it in the morning and let me cancel it. I said that the room is full. Can I book it in the afternoon? ? I think Ctrip is doing something in the chaos. I am a diamond VIP customer of Ctrip. No matter where I go, I use Ctrip to book hotels and book flights. Besides, I am usually on a business trip abroad. I am such a loyal fan of Ctrip. In exchange for it, they are playing like this! ! ! ! ! What made me vomit more was that the second night I stayed, I just went to the room and had a note on the floor of the room. I saw it, let me go to the front desk, said something, I went to the front desk, the front desk. The fat woman, let me pay for it, let me pay the money, saying that I did not pay for the accommodation for tomorrow night, I said that I paid the money on Ctrip, please check it, and I will be there tomorrow morning. I left, I stayed for two nights. I won’t live here tomorrow night, but this fat woman said, I just didn’t pay the money. I said that if you look at my Ctrip’s certificate, she doesn’t look at it. I have to pay the money. I said that if you call the police, let the police take a look. After a while, she calls and says that it is for the boss. The boss asked me to answer the phone. I gave the female boss a phone call. Said to pay the money, she said that no money paid, this time, I said you check it again, the boss communicated with the fat woman for a while, communicated for 2 minutes, the fat woman told me that I can go back, I said What happened, she said misunderstanding, I can go. I rely on it, and I sent it to me in such a sentence. I am very angry and have no intention of apologizing. I said that Ctrip, the three traffickers, can you better regulate the partners. Improve it, Ctrip's leaders, you also give us some high-quality services, and don't worry about our hardcore fans like Ctrip! ! ! ! it's OK! ! ! ! !

I will start with the positives. Staff was friendly and efficient. They actually have a hot breakfast in the middle of the Covid experience. Hotel is very close to a main road, thankfully we were in the quiet side and didn’t hear any road noise, not sure how the road side rooms would fare. Room was clean and well looked after. Furniture was nice and clearly not old. They had directional lights pointed to each bed if you want to read at night while someone sleeps in the next bed. TV selection was good. TV did not have a sleep timer which is always frustrating to me. Plenty of lighting in the room which is always appreciated. However, despite many good things we will not be back. They missed on the most important part. The beds were rock hard. I have been traveling for work for 15 years and have rarely encountered beds this hard. If you like ultra firm mattresses then this is your place. To accentuate the hard mattresses they selected pillows that had no support at all. Even folded in half they were of little use. Very little sleep at all, and that is the whole purpose of a hotel. The other big complaint would be the outlets. Most hotel are now equipped with usb charging ports near the beds, on the desk, incorporated into the lights etc. Our room had none of that. I had to unplug lights to charge things. I was there for work and the desk was decent but the chair did not fit under the desk causing unnecessary aggravation. We had a suite but it was on the small side for a suite and only had one TV. If you are traveling with coworkers and have a suite, two TVs would have been nice. Not all suites have them but, it would be a big selling point for me. Did have a full couch so you don’t have to use the bed as a make shift couch, when you have been traveling for as many years as I have it is a blessing. Bathroom was big and plenty of counter space, hit water was good, water pressure good. The had nice soap, shampoo and conditioner in pumps in the shower. They had a bath tub if that is what you are looking for. Small microwave and decent size mini fridge which is a must for me. Coffee and tea in the room. Temp controls on the A/C unit under the window and we had no trouble keeping the room comfortable. Parking lot was a pain. I have a full size pickup that I need for my work and the parking lot is not truck friendly. Don’t even think of it is you have a box truck or a pulling even a small trailer. It would not have been a bad stay at all if the mattress and pillow had not been even close to decent. Until that changes, we will stay elsewhere.

While the staff was amazing and friendly, my stay quickly became a nightmare the morning I was supposed to check out. In the early morning on the day I was to check out, I was startled awake by rustling noises only to discover a mouse in my room. I quickly showered and went to pack up and discovered mouse droppings all over the top of the counter and along the base of the pull-out couch. The mouse ran through the room a couple of times between the couch, bed and under the fridge. As I finished getting ready for my day, I had dropped my charger along the one side of the couch, only to discover a stain and an old used condom. While the staff was so kind, shocked, and apologetic, I’m shocked that the room was not as clean as I had initially thought. Upon coming home, I also discovered that the mouse chewed through a pair of my bike shorts. Again, the staff was amazing, and I received a full refund for my visit, but this is definitely something to be aware of. Maybe this is an issue due to covid and not being staffed properly, but it’s definitely not something you would expect to find in a higher rated hotel. I highly suggest you check your room over before unpacking.

We always stay at HIE in Allentown, PA and Charlotte NC. This HIE in Allentown is great. The front desk is the best I have ever encountered. Felicia (?) she is always there, bent over backwards to accomodate us regarding a request we made. She is always pleasant and professional. The rooms were immaculate as always. Breakfast has many choices. Great Coffee. Will stay again!
Parkview Inn and Conference Center

How creepy is the ParkView Inn & Conference Center? Let me count the ways. For $97.90 per night for a room with two double beds, we expected a room key that would unlock the door and a TV remote that would actually work, and we got neither. The photos on the website for this place are very misleading... it is not a proper hotel at all, but a huge, sprawling, run-down motor court with ancient plumbing fixtures that is located in some kind of industrial park. After checking in at the front office and driving all the way around the huge complex to find our room, the key card would not unlock the door... so we had to put all the luggage back in the car and drive all the way back to the office to get a new key card. Back to the room, only to discover the TV remote did not work... so, back to the office to get a replacement that did not work either. And it is so complicated to get on their WiFi that there is a half page is instructions. The room does have a fridge, but there is no microwave (apparently, there is a microwave available for guests’ use in one of the common areas). Breakfast is included, but based on the rest of our experience here, we think we’ll give it a miss and head straight into downtown Allentown for a restaurant. Let the buyer beware... this is not a hotel, it is a motel... and a bare-bones, poorly maintained one at that.
