Mount Mitchell Eco Retreat

Really beautiful property. Cabin furnishings were really good quality and cabin was very clean. Coffee maker and fridge in the room. Was a booklet with all sorts of helpful info on bedside table. A little off the beaten path, so don't plan to be able to easily access restaurants.

Rooms were clean adequete with microwave and fridge. The main area was difientely picture perfect if you are looking to unwind and relax. You have to book the message off site - the numbers are in the handbook - I would suggest doing it before your trip as they may not be available during your stay. The only thing was I was not sure if I read there were roaming dogs While I was booking which makes sense to keep other animals at bay. I was bitten by a dog in the past so I have a fear of dogs and as I was exiting my car, I see a very big dog running and barking coming my way - I froze in place my husband started to pet the dog and it turns out he is very friendly. After reading while I saw there the reason for the three dogs - I only saw one - I understood - other than the very scary moment - it is picture perfect.

That place is magical! Everything was great. The rooms were exceptionally clean, amazing bedsheets and soap and shampoo products. We will miss Olive/AllLove, she was the most loving community dog.

Our family was very impressed during our stay with the ease of check-in, spotless rooms, and everything in between to make our stay enjoyable (fridge, coffee, and sound machines in every room). We plan to be back!

Everything was amazing. Super clean. Smelled good. Very peaceful. Exactly what we came for. Fell in love with Olive!

The check in was easy and the rooms were clean and spacious. The property itself is stunning and peaceful. A perfect destination for a weekend away!

Fantastic place to unplug for a while. There is no cell service, which makes it even better. The room had a fantastic view. The lodge was cozy and warm. The hemlocks are walking distance. The place is a breath of fresh air. The only issue we ran into was that the room had no trash bags - we checked every drawer and cabinet.

This property was just as presented in the posting and was very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
