Thalassa Sousse Resort & Aquapark Family and Couple Only

We didn't know what to expect after reading the reviews for this hotel and this time most of the reviews were true. • We arrived at the hotel on 30/06/23 sometime around 2 pm (a group of 10 people), at the reception they just told us to put your suitcases here and wait, so we waited, after about half an hour, still nothing happened, we left so ask the reception again and the answer was just wait, no one told you anything, so we urged the reception to continue. There were about 6 hotel employees at the reception and they had absolutely no idea what to do, they kept walking around with papers, asking about our name and how many there were, they kept just checking the papers and bungalow numbers. At about 5 p.m., when we kept asking what the problem was, finally after three hours they answered, gave the key to one of the bungalows. Stone. One bungalow for ten people, the gentleman who led us there said that they gave us this one for now and the rest after that. He led us to a bungalow, we had a famBungalow, when 10 people were crammed into it, it was immediately suffocating and the air conditioning didn't work. So we went to the reception again. The situation there was terrible, dozens of people waited all afternoon for their key and so far with no result and the only thing they got was the answer wait. In the meantime, we also called the delegate and, as I gradually learned, we were not the only ones that day. So in about another two hours they gave us two more keys and we could each move into the bungalows. As I already mentioned, we had a paid famBungalow for 4 people, so I don't know who invented it, but the bungalow had two rooms and one air conditioner, which, however, only worked in the bedroom and the air did not get into the second room and it was a mess. Then we only had a piece of wire pulled from the wall instead of a TV (the TV didn't bother us at all that it wasn't there, I was more bothered that they were declaring something that wasn't there), broken chairs, etc., I'll add photos. So we went to the reception, where nothing happened anyway, so we called the delegate again and he said he would come in the morning and that it would be resolved. So in the morning we went to a meeting with the delegate, he was willing to solve everything, but he still didn't solve anything at all. We requested a change of bungalow or a change of hotel. In the end we agreed to change the bungalow, that we should come to the reception in the afternoon and that they would try to do something about it. They found the only available bungalow, we went to look there and there was no air conditioning at all, after talking to the delegate when he tried to me to convince them that they all have air conditioners, I resigned and found out that we couldn't do anything anyway and that the people at the reception and Mr. Delegate were just as sh**t. So we had to accept the situation as it was. This was the part about the reception, which is absolutely not working, when

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. RUN .....It is advertised as a 4 * but I rate it at a 1* at best. Do not believe tge ohotos you see online as they are nit true to the actual place you see. We as a family of 11 stayed for two weeks and after a week I wanted to come home. Wi fi is a joke, Room was not cleaned properly, toilet roll was non exististant, towels were taken by laundry staff and not replaced so just as well we took our own! Food was same every lunch time and evening and was poor quality and no labels to say what it was. Please note they do not do chips so you have kids don't expect much in the way of kids choices because there are not any. I have been on many nany holidays over the years and this is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Please save your money as it is not worth the visit.

Very bad and very poor hotel! No internet! No conditioner! Staff says we will fix it tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣 and every day the same🤦‍♀️ Very bad pool water quality🥵 Animation team very frendly, aqva park very good.☺️ The rioms are very small. Please avoid this hotel.

Exelent animation. Exelen pools and aquapark. Room not very good. But i like the animation because all the entertaiment team is wenderfull all Time smile and happy we havr very good Time in the hotel really

Horrible hotel, with horrible servise, room was cleaned 3times, no toillet paper, no changed towels, bad hygienic in a restaurant, bar near the beach didnt offer lot of drinks, almost always closed... And absolutely this hotel can not be considered with 4stars and ALL inclusive. Seemd like cheap accomodation.

first day we were there my niece fell down a slide and cut her head, leaving her with a blackeye. the lifeguard who was suppose to be watching was too busy on his phone to notice even though my niece was screaming. my mam had to jump in and get my niece out the pool. there was multiple wiring left hanging or open and unsafe in the bedrooms we had. The main thing i want to complain about is my bathroom. on the side of the bath was a broken tile which is left like a razer blade on the side of the bath. my one year old son has went to climb in the bath, catching his foot, slitting his toe open. I rushed next door to my brothers room for a plaster until I realise the extent of the damage. I ran for first aid assistance when I was asking the staff they were looking at me like I was an alien. until I showed them the amount of blood. a passer by then intervened as the staff didn't know what they were doing which is concerning. they finally told me I needed to get him to hospital for stitches. when I returned my mam asked the manager who was involved in taking us to the hospital what he was going to do about the situation, he shrugged his shoulders and walked off saying it wasn't his issue. no offer to fix the tile, change the room, anything. leaving us with the same risk. which is a BIG concern considering those rooms are for young children with them being at the side of the baby pool and slides. some of the staff can be very rude - letting foreigners push in front of those in line and just drop serving you to serve them. To get to the water sports on the beach you have to walk over rubble from the remainder of the rooms that have collapsed there, which is also dangerous. The morning before we travelled home we asked about transfers, the staff member told us to come back in the afternoon. we came back and the staff looked at each other and laughed at us. they didn't know how to help us so i had to ring numbers and email you. The wifi that they say you get on the advert, Doesn't work. we each had to buy a sim card to put in our phones after a week of asking them to get us onto the wifi and them telling us there was nothing they could do to help

This hotel was my first experience as a tourist on the African continent and initially I did not like certain aspects of this hotel, but after traveling around Africa I realized that this location is super ok for a medium budget compared to other locations in African countries. I will come back here with pleasure.

Food was disgusting, made me very sick for a few days. Had to go to the chemist for diarrhoea tablets. No fresh water as they reuse there water bottles. It’s not sealed water bottles. Don’t let them fool you. No different variety of food. No butter with the bread. No clean bedding or fresh clean towels. Very hard to get hold of toilet paper. No fridge. Some Staff at reception not interested in helping with no toilet paper or towels. Very rude and unorganised. Very poor service. Also watch out for the camera photography man who works at the hotel asking to take pictures. He tries to take your money and doesn’t take no for an awnser . My girlfriend had an unpleasant experience with him. Very rude and intimidating. Even come to our hotel room knocking on are door for photos. Wouldn’t take no for an answer. When people are on holiday we want to be left alone to have some peace. We don’t want to be harassed. Hotel needs massive work done to it. NOT a 4 star hotel. We were robbed of are money.

Rooms are barely clean, bath dirty and not cleaned at all very well. Ants crawling all over. Don’t receive towels until early evening and toilet roll is nearly non existent unless you treck to reception. FOOD IS AWFUL!!!! same food every single day (lunch and dinner) unless you fancy pasta for breakfast also 😂 butter is non existent. I ate twice in the whole week staying as all inclusive. Drinks also not great. Pool bar only serves 1 wine and 1 beer if you want questionable spirits you have to go to reception. The camera man (paparazzi) hassles and hassles you and I had a very unpleasant experience of him shouting in my face due to not realising I booked a shoot with him!!! Reception are no help whatsoever. Even the staff here are seen eating at restaurants outside the hotel. The only positives are animation team, swimming pool and waterpark is great! We had lovely weather so enjoyed all of this and lived off snacks from the little shop 😊😊😊
