The location is beautiful, super clean and well-served, the internet is not good. A serious problem we had was that the establishment offers you tourist transfers and to the airport, which operates you one of the gentlemen working on the site, at last we asked you to take us to the airport and send the child to make the Transfer, when we arrived, we charged 50% more than the recorded, we called the establishment and Lord refused to answer and finally we had to pay what they charged us, which seemed to us very unhappy, so be careful to this Lord.

After seeing some of the previous reviews my expectations were very low. However after 4 night stay on tour I am pleased to be able submit a really positive review after a most enjoyable stay. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent, a wide selection which varied each day and particularly the hot food stations in the evening serving freshly cooked fish, meat and pasta dishes. Its a vast hotel and some rooms are 5-10 minutes walk to the reception area, but it was always enjoyable walking around the pool particularly at sunrise. The rooms are looking a bit tired and in need of updating but all very clean and everything was in working order. Can definitely recommend.

I would like to say if you ever see my other reviews on trip adviser, I am brutely honest with an emphasis on the brutal so when I give a place a good review, it earned it. I went to Tunis on business, I booked a stay at The Residence as it was close to where I needed to be, and it had good ratings. I can say we were blown away by how nice it was, the staff is amazing, the entire hotel and it’s big was spotlessly clean. The Residence is a short like 3 minute slow stroll from the beach and the grounds are extremely well kept. About the only thing I would change if I had the option would be to make a part of the bar and restaurant areas non-smoking, both are big enough that a part could be cordoned off. It’s nice to have breakfast outside and breathe the fresh air right up until someone at the next table lights up a cigarette.

Carthage thalasso resort Tunisia, food great, housekeeping very good on cleaning an friendly, but Some of the reception staff behaved on a tough way, they are late in answering and often do not carry out the request. For example, you believe that I asked for a pen and a notebook from the first day because I used them while giving television interviews in the room, and they were not brought until I left the hotel after a week. They prevent water from entering the hotel. In a silver way sometimes, I don't know why!? Every time I leave the hotel and come back, I feel very angry as a result of their insistence that I carry water in my hand luggage!? That experience that upset me very much.

The hotel is very new, the equipment is good, the most nice thing is that the hotel staff has no problem in English communication, and the room is automatically upgraded to a suite, giving a big surprise.
