Beautiful view and nice bright room. The fireplace warmed well. The room was quiet clean. Minuses: free wifi - was not working. We stayed in the ‘honeymoon suite’ -both hair dryers didn’t work. A wish to improve the service in the rooms and wifi.

We booked 2 rooms here as we came over to the island for my step mom's 80th birthday party just down the road. The first room was warm but a bit unclean, but nothing atrocious. The cleaner's need to be better at doing wall cleaning and corner cleaning. Upon entering our room it was freezing cold, we called for service they said they would come, we left to head to the party. Came back still freezing cold in the room, decided not to call again as it was later and didn't want to have the inconvenience of waiting for them. Froze all night, having to double up the duvet, to finally get warm. They had left a space heater in the room, which also wouldn't stay on for more than 5 seconds, until early in the morning when my partner hit it and it finally stayed on and started to work, which I told the attendant about. When I went into the bathroom in the morning I noticed that someone had left the bathroom window slightly open, which didn't help us keep the bathroom warm with the heater on. Sunday morning I called when we checked out and No answer or Voicemail to leave a message about what happened, called again later and finally someone picked up, I told my story and asked for a call back from the Owner. No call back and no follow up by them that day. I emailed on the Monday to follow up about this. They got back and basically said it was my fault for not phoning in the night time and they would give me a 20% discount on my next stay. I asked for the discount to be applied right away. No answer back. So I emailed again on tuesday and they answered back, accusing us of turning OFF the propane to the fireplace and breaking the space heater even though it was working when we left the room in the morning (we left it going), without even talking to us. I am amazed that this kind of Customer Service exists. This had been the 3rd time we stayed there and will NEVER stay there again. Rooms are Overpriced and outdated, noise from the highway can be heard from every room, and I have tried 3 of them. Yes the views are amazing but this kind of Customer service and lack of follow through has left a Very bad impression for me. I don't make a fuss normally and NEVER leave reviews but I'm disgusted by the treatment I have received.

Firstly, the view is stunning. This is what makes this place great. The room was also large and the bed was very comfortable. It was also perfectly located near the friends we were visiting. It’s not especially clean though and there is a fair amount of routine maintenance that seems to have been put off for a bit too long. The room also smells like an ashtray and the latch on the sliding glass door is completely missing. The cigarette smell did make me reminisce about my grandmother though, which was kinda nice? Back to the stunning view, our view has the beauty in the background and a trash dumpster in the foreground. It wasn’t the kind of view that you want to wake up in the morning and sip your coffee too. Also, when the morning sun comes up, you can’t see through the windows because they’re so dirty that the sun just makes the dirty glare visible. It’s not the worst place I’ve stayed but for the cost I expected much more.

The view is spectacular! It was peaceful and quiet. The bed was saggy and the feather pillows were flat, so we did not sleep well. We did enjoy the fireplace. There was a kitchenette with some dishes, and silverware which had food stuck to them. There was a toaster, a microwave and a small oven and mini fridge. It is very no frills otherwise. One tiny hand soap in the bathroom and one tiny shampoo and conditioner. The staff is was not on site so if you need anything you need to give them a call. We didn’t call them for anything so I cannot say how service was. If you want a nice view, you will get it!!

unfortunately, due to the wild fires raging through the okanagan currently, my fiance and I wouldn't be able to leave our house as the risk of evacuation is looming. we contacted the moon water lodge as early as we could to cancel our reservation but were told that our funds would not be returned as we missed the cancellation window. I am surprised that a concession could not be made considering the extreme situations we are facing. I hope the owners and staff are never put into a similar situation. I would also like to add that while i was not able to give 48 hours notice, I did give over 24 hours notice. it would have been more but i was unable to get ahold of anyone after repeated calls to both phone numbers listed

What a fantastic place to stay! WELL WORTH THE PRICE, which was comparable to other choices in the area. You get a STUNNING view of the water and beautiful forested hills with an AMAZING tub overlooking the bay window. Room was HUGE and they even accept dogs (for a small pet fee)! 10/10 would stay again!!

The view was exceptional and the staff couldn't have been kinder, BUT we were disappointed in the dirty deck, windows, and moldy shower. What a shame to have such a beautiful view with filthy windows. The room was fine, although being 78 and 82 the stairs down to the rooms were a bit awkward. Perhaps we should have asked about stairs when booking. Lovely people, great view, but we wouldn't stay there again.
