There is usually something redeeming about a resort that is all inclusive however, in this case, the beach was full of sea**** and sharp rocks in the water, and on the sand, the pools were cold. None of them were heated not even the kids pools. The food options were limited, and it was very difficult to make reservations at any of the restaurants. We spending a lot of money at the arcade, because there was really not much else to do.

We loved this hotel. Dining was great at all restaurants. There are multiple activities for kids and adults, i just wish more of them had no additional fees. Room was a little outdated but not in bad condition.

Everything was good. We like the food, a lot of activities for kids and adults. Rooms just need some upgrades. Overall I can give 4 of 5 starts. I will recommend this hotel for our friends.

We were happy with the resort overall, food was very average, our room ( caribe) was very old/ outdated but every worked, the whole resort was pretty and the beach is amazing ( that was the reason we came to this resort. Activities were just ok

Just got back from a 7 day trip at Barcelo Maya Caribe. 15 of us (families with teens and one 4 year old). It was absolutely amazing. Was worried about the food as we are all pretty passionate about our food quality and have to say we were all pleasantly surprised as I found it to be better than any other all inclusive I’ve stayed at. Tons for the kids to do. They loved the trip. We are already planning on going back!!

Stayed at Maya Caribe with premium upgrade. Overall Nice property with lots of options including several swimming pools, sandy beaches and other amenities. Decent food in the buffet, but would like to see more options. Several restaurants to choose from.

The property itself is gorgeous. The beach is breathtaking. This is our 3rd time to this hotel in the past 13 years and it was great. The food wasn’t always the best but we never walked around hungry. We were always able to find good food.

Let’s just say that the first time was a lot better
