We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at CinqueSuites Ortigia. Our group of 5 rented 3 of the suites.They were all spacious, clean, and decorated with fun, modern touches. The location down a small pedestrian side "street" made for a very quiet stay. Breakfast on the rooftop consisted of a buffet of sweets, cereal, yogurt with eggs and coffee to order. I emailed in advance with Morena to hire a car and driver for visiting the surrounding villages and she was very good with communication and we very much liked the driver and vehicle. If one speaks Italian there, it helps, but Morena and the other staff spoke enough English. There is no elevator, but that was no problem for us. We would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed at this lovely place last week. The experience started mixed but it ended quite well thanks to the help of the owner Liliana. We had an issue with where we parked and she was able to resolve it for us. What great customer service! Grazie Liliana! My wife had previously written a review complaining that we had to pay for towel, which was not accurate as they offered us the towel, which is very high quality , at the end of our stay! This is a very nice place with very warm and helpful people, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Siracusa! Arriverderci e di nuovo grazie per tutto! Vincenzo

We stayed in the Cinquesuites and had a great experience. The team were very helpful and answered all our questions. The hotel was clean and a well located on the island of Ortigia and the rooms were very spacious. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

This small and cosy hotel was a very nice surprise. Just in the middle of Ortigia. Only five rooms in the hotel and they were really spacious. Breakfast was ordered the day before and served at the room top.

I booked a week in this hotel on 2nd April through *********** as I thought it looked like a romantic location for our honeymoon. All our flights and transfers were arranged after the hotel confirmed our booking. Everything was going to plan for a wedding we had booked for early July. On 2nd June the hotel contacted me through *********** to request a cancellation and despite being made aware of the honeymoon, flights etc. all the hotel could offer me was half of the dates I had booked. I did have some excuse given about overbooking due to administrative issues but I was left extremely disappointed and had to scrabble around to find a hotel in the same area to match the travel arrangements, needless to say that the replacement doesn’t have the same romantic feel about it. I am left hugely disappointed by the experience and quite frankly finding the excuse given very hard to believe.

Originally beautifully renovated, now many things are in poor condition: rusty fittings, broken toilet lid, loose sink. Unbearable smell from the sewer in the room. No parking at the hotel, and no parking card for the public car park is provided, as has already been the case with other hotels in Syracuse. Steep, narrow stairs, no elevator. No room for luggage storage. Luggage is stored at reception. Unfortunately, our suitcase was damaged.

Ottima la posizione, nel cuore di Ortigia, personale gentile e attento a ogni richiesta. Si accede alla struttura attraverso uno stretto vicolo, suggestivo, ma l’atmosfera viene subito rovinata dalla presenza di numerosi gatti e dal forte odore della loro urina. Avevo prenotato una delle suite deluxe che si trovano ai piano superiore, ma qualche giorno prima dell’ inizio del soggiorno mi comunicano un up grade, allo stesso prezzo, in una stanza con iaccuzzi. La stanza si trovava al piano terra, entrando si e’ percepito subito un forte odore di muffa per l’umidità presente che ha lasciato i segni anche sulla rubinetteria dei sanitari, nella doccia e nei mobili di arredo del bagno corrosi e in parte arrugginiti…….fatti inaccettabili. La iacuzzi inutilizzabile per l’acqua troppo fredda ( problema già segnalato da altri ospiti ma non ancora risolto). Un vero peccato, potrebbe davvero essere una struttura molto bella e caratteristica, ma vanno riviste un po’ di cose.

Struttura da 5 stelle per cortesia, gentilezza, consigli, pulizia e cura dei particolari, peccato che la camera prenotata con vasca idromassaggio ha avuto per tutta la durata del ns soggiorno l’acqua fredda, quindi inutilizzabile. Pur facendo presente dal primo giorno la condizione , nulla è stato fatto (si era in attesa di un elettricista che forse sarà arrivato dopo il ns soggiorno). Sono cose che possono capitare certo, ma se non siamo riusciti ad utilizzare la vasca idromassaggio (che ha avuto un costo non trascurabile), ritenevamo avessimo diritto ad un leggero ritocco sul prezzo della stanza: d’altro canto se prenoto una camera con vasca idromassaggio ed accetto il prezzo….come minimo vorrei utilizzarla! Le gentili collaboratrici di sono celate dietro un …i titolari non ci sono e noi non possiamo applicare scontistiche, ma certamente la chiameranno (mai ricevuta la telefonata, ma a nulla sarebbe servita) . Direi non proprio una customer soddisfacente, peccato davvero.

Camera spaziosa, elegante, romantica e curata nei minimi dettagli. Colazione ottima servita direttamente in camera all’orario da te stabilito. Un ringraziamento a Siria che ci ha accolti e spiegato ogni cosa con molta professionalità e gentilezza. Grazie anche a Liliana e Christian che ci hanno fatti sentire a casa. Consiglio vivamente questa suite se si vuole staccare dalla quotidianità e godersi una giornata di relax nel cuore di ortigia.
