Built in 1897, this historic villa in Siófok was renovated in 2011. It offers air-conditioned, en-suite rooms and suites with a balcony, minibar and flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is available. Nice hotel right on the Balaton embankment with its own marina and wellness center. Beautiful quiet environment, but very far from the city center and also from the main promenade. But the peace and quiet is excellent. The rooms are small, one side of the bed is almost against the wall and it was difficult to reach it, weak heating in the spring, it was cold in the room, a disproportionately large bathroom but with a very small shower where the average person had trouble showering. Our bathroom smelled of sewage. Wellness with a large swimming pool with a little cold water and a whirlpool with quite dirty water, which is adjacent to the children's pool. I was not very impressed with the wellness, I was expecting better equipment. Breakfast and dinner deliciously cooked, even if breakfast is still the same and evenings are often repetitive. The problem was that, despite the large number of staff, they did not have time to replenish the food and there was often a problem with an empty buffet. The restaurant and bar staff had trouble communicating in a language other than Hungarian, but they were still very nice. The same goes for the staff in the wellness area. The only good English speaker was the reception. Despite the high price and 4*, this hotel should be presented as 3*, because the services and facilities did not correspond to 4*.

The hotel was found quickly, parked in the yard, although the car was put behind the fence of the guests. The first impression is pleasant-all green,beautiful,summer platform,tennis table,legs on the lawn.We were settled too fast,pleasant admin.The room was taken on the 2nd floor,thought if the hotel is nothing and the territory is beautiful,the room should be appropriate, But there is no room...the place where to leave things was,in the hall.In a small room everything is very old,I am about the situation in general,but there is a refrigerator and glasses/glasses,and also a t.Bed large,clean lingerie,there is an exit to the balcony out of the room. The bath was certainly survived those times,but we decided not to stay in the room and walk.About 5 minutes is time to be at O.Balaton.This shore of the lake didn't like,small and water is muted. In the evening, they had a snack on the embankment in the Calypso cafe,a good fish dinner,the hotel did not order food.We had breakfast in,thought there would be nothing,missured.Breakfasts are normal,nothing supernatural,but we ate.On the Swedish table there was:omlet, Delicious sausages,rare for hotels ,becon,biscuits, vegetables,cheese/cola sausage,butter,a couple of sweet cakes and normal coffee,not water.Yes, by the way,who doesn't drink milk in the range was Alpro coconut and almond milk. In the morning, they went for a run, enjoyed small neat houses and beautiful streets. The hotel is conveniently located in relation to the beach and cafes/restaurants.Just in the 5th world is a coffee shop with ice cream, just a little further from the Spar market
