We stayed here as a group of 8 people during our business trip and I can fully recommend the hotel. the area was great for us, lot of bars and restaurants and good night life. Further, the bus which brought us to the company every day was just around the corner (Bus no. 15). The hotel itself is very clean, has a big shower (so good!!!) and was cleaned every day. I liked that in the bed there was two different pillows, a soft one and a firm one! since I only like soft ones it was great for me! the stuff is really nice and helpful. booking taxi middle in the night for us or giving good tips as we had some issues with the credit card (it wasn't hotel fault, it was the bank!) and the best : the stuff is always smiling!! not to forget the nice orange juice machine (two!). having a fresh orange juice after the hot working day was great! I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, but I did from the juice machine :) Breakfast was nice and there is always something for everyone. me for my part love Asian food, so I enjoyed kaya buns and the fresh fruits. Also the coffee is nice and I loved the masala tea! Around the corner of the hotel you can eat famous Katong laksa! the best in the city in my honest opinion! Also five chicken star is nice place to eat since they are serving very good hainanese chicken rice. If you go down the street from five chicken star, you will find Mel´s Place, a nice beer garden with local people. You can watch football here, play billard or enjoy live music on some events. When traveling, I like to connect with local people and get more nice tips where to go, so my tips here are far away from the touristic areas and events.

Ibis Budget Singapore Gold

Geylang Singapore|1.29km from Sri Sivan Temple
It’s my first of three nights stay in this new establishment. I’m already loving it, so glad I booked this hotel. - Location: it’s a bit of walk (> 10 mins) from the nearest train station. However the walk wasn’t so painful because Singapore is safe and well organised country with mostly smooth and covered walkways. Close proximity to Changi Airport is a big plus too. There are several bus stops nearby that can take you to many different destinations. Hotel offers breakfast (to my happy surprise) and there are loads of local eateries around. The area is uniquely known for Durian markets, for me personally it is always interesting to walk through this lively neighbourhood but some might find it “smelly” especially for someone who’s new to Durian. - Room: I was very surprised by spacious size of my room compared to most of boutique hotels in Singapore where rooms are usually tiny. Very clean, still new and everything works fine except safe as the batteries seems to be run out (I’m sure it will be dealt with once informed). Bed is clean and comfortable, TV has both Netflix & YouTube. Essentials are all here but there’s not much bathroom amenities, so bringing your own (shampoo & conditioner, face wash, body wash and hand soap, mainly) is recommended. Also there’re no room slippers - again, bring your own! - Bathroom: very clean with clean set of towels, and shower works great. Only setback is that water spills out to the floor easily. - Staff: friendly and helpful, welcoming. All in all, this is already so far my favourite accommodation in Singapore out of many that I have stayed. No frills, clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, and nicely located. I’ll be back!

Was mostly clean, breakfast items left out all day and not tossed. So peanutbutter ECT got really gross and just topped off. Breakfast not recommend to the faint of heart. Other than that mostly clean for a busy dorm with limited bathrooms. Laundry was nice but limited to overnight hours only, and with the line sometimes you had to wait till 1am. Nice patios and outdoor areas. Right next to MRT which is very convenient. The neighborhood was safe with lots of food options, limited groceries nearby

The hostel is very close to the Ayuni Metro Station. I have stayed at the hotel for four nights before and after. It is more convenient, but the bathroom shower facilities are occasionally difficult to guarantee. The boss is good, the girl lives alone, and the boss will give priority to the room with more girls, which is more convenient in hot Singapore.   In addition, the hostel is not far from the famous durian stand in Singapore, and it is convenient to eat.

There is no cleanliness there from the word ”very”. The location is perfect! Breakfast is coffee, bread, butter and rizzle-povidlo. The room is not cleaned (maybe you should ask separately). All Singapore is a miracle. The Emotion Hotel hasn't been darkened, but it is if you don't plan to be in it more time than outside. We lived for 3 days and worn the nights normally. The bathroom is normal.
