The room was very clean. Hygiene: Excellent Service: Sim at the front desk was very helpful. The surrounding facilities are complete, with many restaurants nearby within walking distance. Taxis are also very convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

The location of Value Hotel Balestier is quite nice and convenient, with easy access to nearby food places and transportation. However, the main downside of my stay was the restroom. It was noticeably smelly and had a strong unpleasant odor, similar to sewage or poop, which made using the bathroom uncomfortable. While the location is a plus, the cleanliness and smell of the restroom really need improvement.

The room was very clean, and right across the street was a mall where I found Jollibee and bak kut teh. The front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, so I could make any requests directly without any communication barriers. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and I slept very peacefully.

Excellent budget hotel, we really enjoy our stay and highly recommended. All staff are friendly and can be trusted. My Next trip to Singapore I will still choose this hotel🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

It was our 3rd time staying here. Receptionists all of them were helpful. The hotel is good value for money and the bus stop and in front of hotel. Next door is local hawker and a walking distance to Shaw plaza if you need anything else, the laundromat just right near bus stop. 24 hours reception, Aaron was helped us with loading the luggage in the taxi. The house keeping was nice to us, we impressed the Myanmar housekeeping, she was very polite and cleaned our room even though I told her just empty the bin and change the towel. We will be back next time. Thank you Family travel with young children.

The hotel has been recently renovated. Everything is clean and all the appliances work. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the metro. The neighborhood is also very pleasant. They even let me check in early. I liked everything. Definitely recommend.

I was back here after a while..there were some small changes here and there. Yes..keep it up for improvements! I requested for checking out at 1.00pm the next day and told the staff to take note so that their other staff would be aware as well. They said that it would be noted in the system. However, I still received a call just before 12 noon but I did not answer it as I was in the bathroom. Hmmm..oh well.. All else were acceptable for a short stay. Thank you.

Homix Hotel is a budget option in Singapore with a handy location and affordable rates. However, the property has noticeable maintenance issues: the shower head fell off, the sink is stuck, wireless charging is out of order, the mirror light does not work, and the bed handle is loose. You will also face compact rooms and occasional noise disturbances. Not recommended if you expect well-maintained facilities.

The environment is quiet and peaceful, with excellent natural light and ventilation. Commuting to NTU is super convenient, and overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience. The hygiene is top-notch, the space is comfortable, and the amenities are complete. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. The location is superb, close to public transport (bus/MRT), making it very easy to get to Nanyang Technological University. The accommodation experience exceeded my expectations.
