Kam Leng Hotel

My stay at the hotel was somewhat satisfactory, with noticeable drawbacks. While the overall cleanliness was acceptable, I observed stains in the bathroom and dust on the ceiling. Moreover, I experienced discomfort as my legs felt itchy after using the blanket provided. Regarding service, it was average, but I was disappointed when my friends were denied access to accompany me to my room. The most significant issue was the poor sound insulation; I could clearly hear noises from neighboring rooms, including plumbing sounds and doors opening and closing. Despite these shortcomings, the stay was bearable, but there is definite room for improvement.

Very good. Just hook don't have. Very old ambience hotel which i like. No ghost at all.

hskp did not clean the room properly, and seems that no one checked the room before officially releasing the rooms as "Clean rooms". Previous guests' toothbrush were still lying around in the sink.

We were upgraded to the king room, which is much more spacious. The staff and managers try their best, and are friendly and accommodating. However, it being an old building, newly renovated, There’s still a lot of work that needs to be done, the first king room we were in had some mold on the walls, behind the wallpaper and the towels often came back stained. But overall, price was cheap and towels and bedsheets are changed everyday. It was a comfortable enough stay. Location is great and I and my partner had a good stay.

Back again here for extended stay. Different room but super clean as well

It is not the hipster Kam Leng Hotel of pre Covid. I was hoping for a better experience since it was closed for refurbishment but was disappointed as the environment felt rather seedy. The bathroom mat when unfurled was stained and had a long strand of black hair. Clearly housekeeping was tardy and thought they could get away with folding the mat in half. The pillows, although comfortable, had a couple of stains on the pillowcases. The 'new' shower did not function well. One of the tabs for the shower head was not connected so the water came gushing out from below the panel of tabs. Regulating the temperature of the water was difficult as the tap yielded hot water at high pressure or cold water at low pressure. There was no way to get a good mixture of hot and cold. The access panel on the bathroom ceiling could also do with some improvement as it looked as though the refurbishment of the rooms are not completed. The walls were thin enough for the opening and closing of other room doors to be audible throughout the night. I only managed 2 - 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep. There was no mini fridge but thankfully there was an electric kettle to boil water.

Small room but convenient location. Hot water is no problem.

Pros: 1. Great location. Near to bus stop and shopping mall. 2. Luggage storing service Cons: 1. Cockroaches 2. Dripping water in toilet 3. Thin walls (able to hear others snoring) 4. Low water pressure for showering 5. No hair conditioner 6. Poor draining in shower. Bathroom flooded every time I showered. 7. Dusty
