Hotel 81 Bugis

The room had excellent natural light thanks to a large floor-to-ceiling window. The hotel was very close to all the attractions, and it was cleaned daily, so it was always spotless. I stayed for six nights, and every day was a great experience.

The soundproofing in the room wasn't great, but for the price and proximity to the subway station, I think it's excellent value for money. Although the facilities aren't the newest, they are still clean and comfortable.

As soon as I walked into the room, there was a musty smell. I guess it's related to Singapore's climate and also the hotel's ventilation system. If you were to live here long-term, it definitely wouldn't be good for your health. The desk was also tiny. The bedding, however, was very clean. The murals in the room haven't been cleaned in ages and are all moldy. The air vents were also very dirty.

Had a fantastic experience from check-in to check-out! The front desk staff were warm and efficient, the room was cozy, and the bedding was super comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to the metro station and shopping areas. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff could communicate in Chinese, which was very convenient. There's a food street right across the road, so you can find anything you want to eat. It's also close to the subway station, about a 15-minute walk if you're not familiar with the area. I forgot to take photos, but the room was small. They didn't provide slippers, but all other toiletries were there. The free WiFi was super fast.
