KINN Capsule: HER Space (Female Only)

Experience: Self check-in and check-out with staff assistance – great! 👍 There's a water bar and breakfast snacks too – a plus! 👍 Facilities: The room's air conditioning was excellent, and the bed was very clean. 👍 Disposable slippers were provided, but no reusable ones. The bathroom had no air conditioning; with just an open window and a fan, it felt quite stuffy. There were no squat toilets. I only stayed one day, but the trash bin in the toilet stall was constantly full, suggesting the trash bags weren't changed frequently enough. The shower stall only had an overhead shower, no handheld one, which was a bit inconvenient for those used to handheld showers and made it easy to get hair wet. Location: Very convenient, close to everything. 👍 There are many bars nearby, so it can get noisy at night.

Great location, and it's very clean despite being small. It's an all-female occupancy, which I recommend. I'd definitely consider staying here again for future solo trips. The service could be a bit more prompt, but overall, a good experience.

The location is fantastic, very close to Clarke Quay, the Merlion, and more. There's a bak kut teh restaurant right across the street and a 7-Eleven nearby. The beds here are larger than the capsule beds I've stayed in before in Tokyo, and there are fewer beds per room. The lobby has a lounge area where you can rest and charge your devices if you arrive early. You can also store your luggage and go explore. The shower room is a bit inconvenient because you can only hang your clothes inside, so you have to be careful not to get them wet. There's a washing machine on the third floor. The front desk staff included a friendly Indian lady who spoke English, and I also saw a male receptionist who spoke Chinese. Check-in is done by scanning a QR code, filling out some information on a webpage, which then generates your room number and password. Check-out is also done by scanning a QR code. Although my Ctrip reservation stated no breakfast, it turns out breakfast is included for everyone. It consists of small cakes and drinks like coffee and soy milk. Overall, in a city as expensive as Singapore, this place is perfect for budget travelers.
