Lloyd's Inn (Staycation Approved)

Location is quite a distance from Orchard MRT, so take a Grab here if possible! That said, the room was pretty nice, and the outdoor shower was pretty unique. Breakfast comes in a voucher that you can redeem at the nearby cafe, it was a light breakfast though.

Stayed there for a night fully paid using cash (not using singapore rediscover voucher) the boutique hotel is located just behind LKY Oxley home. Walking distance was 10 mins away from Orchard Central. The room is spacious and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides toiletries and we had our breakfast using the hotel voucher at Artisan Boulangerie Co located at Killiney Road which is 3 mins Walking distance with a choice of pastry and offered a top up of drink to large size at $1.05. The hotel is only a 2 storey property. Front desk staff was polite except that they were rushing through telling us the T&C and house rules of the hotel and there was a $100 deposit charged to my credit card which may take some time for the refund. Sound proof isn't that good as we keep hearing sounds of slamming door whenever someone opens their room door. Unfortunately the neighbour beside my room keeps singing like a crow and as the outerside of the showing area is partially enclosed, so we can hear it loud and clear in our room. Didn't get to use the pool due to the location as it is just right underneath the walkway to the lobby. There is no privacy as whoever enter or exit the hotel is able to just look down and that is where the pool is. Although it is clean and spacious but given the location and the condition of the hotel not being sound proof, I will not patronise again.

We really enjoyed our trip. What’s more is our first time there. Location is convenient. Lots of food and shopping nearby as well.

Not sound proof..can hear the neighbours talking. The bed sheet was not clean. Hot water is still cold. The room was nice but still need improvements.

Ambient music along the corridor might be Abit loud from the room if you are a light sleeper. Room could be slightly cleaner as there's quite a bit hair and dust on the platform. Design of the room was nice and minimalistic, very straightforward. Location is near somerset and just a five min walk to killiney stretch of affordable variety of food. Will definitely recommend a try!
