I had a wonderful stay at Galaxy Pods @ Chinatown and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore! Prime Location: The location is unbeatable. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the Chinatown MRT station. Everything you need—great local food, shopping, and major attractions—is right at your doorstep. Safe & Comfortable Atmosphere: Despite being a busy and popular property, all the guests were quiet and friendly, which made the stay very comfortable. The security is good as well—smart key cards are required for the main entrance, individual pods, and personal lockers, so I felt completely secure throughout my stay. Outstanding Staff & Service: What impressed me the most was their exceptional helpfulness. After I returned to Taiwan, I realized I had left a personal item behind. The staff went above and beyond to help me locate it, kept me constantly updated with photos, and cooperated seamlessly with my international courier pickup. Their honesty, efficiency, and warm hospitality made a huge difference. I will definitely choose Galaxy Pods again when I visit Singapore!

The room is as per pictures, easy check-in and check-out. Bed sheet, towel, etc are clean. Good location in Chinatown.

Overall was so good but after I stayed for 2 days there are Chinese guy that smoked inside the bunk and new Chinese guy come after that can smell the smoke he also smoke, almost good but bad on this.

Wonderful hostel! The best I've ever stayed in! The staff are fantastic, very welcoming. They're on-site 24/7 and always ready to help. It's incredibly clean inside, with spotless bathrooms. The temperature is perfect: the air conditioning works great, and there's adjustable air circulation inside the capsules. There's also a separate work area. Hot and cold water, tea, and coffee are always available. The location is superb, with everything within walking distance. There are many affordable places to eat nearby, and public transport is easily accessible. I'll recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore.

Had a great stay at Galaxy Pods Chinatown! The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to Chinatown MRT with plenty of food options nearby. The pod was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly private. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Great value for budget travellers!

Great experience! The kids loved having their own room and didn't want to leave. The walking space was a bit narrow, but overall it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely come back if we get the chance.

What I liked most about this hotel was its strategic location. It’s very close to the MRT, making it easy to get around, and we could walk to many places without worrying about expensive taxi fares. The mall is also nearby, with lots of shops around.

This hostel is pretty good overall, located right in the heart of Chinatown. It's very close to bus stops and MRT stations, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a self-service water dispenser available.

Close to Chinatown and Maxwell, just a few minutes walk, very convenient.

Galaxy Pod is a novelty hotel with a cute idea of a ‘Star Wars’ theme for their pods. However, other than location, the capsule hotel is not ideal. The place is run down and in serious need of updates. Shower and toilet is together so constantly wet and in a very small space - this may be common in Asia but Ive stayed at capsule hotels with much better set up. Also, showers were lukewarm (if not cold). Power socket in pod didn’t work. TV in pod didn’t work. There was a buzzing sound in the pod which was odd - and this sound didn’t even drown out the karaoke that was happening downstairs! For the price you are paying, there are much better options in Singapore. Not recommended at all.
